I love that they wrote a song in their early teens, about the speed of time passing, and valuing the important things like quality relationships - things most people don't get till they pass mid life crisis. And now 20 years later, it's so much sweeter seeing them still singing together about flowers growing and shit. 😝
Kilian Listens I liked them equally in different ways. Because the younger brothers' voices have matured, the adult man harmonies don't stand out as much. Less of a rounding off and masculine note into the texture. But the way the group harmonizes at the end; lovely.
Despite the fact I only remember them for this very song, I still love them and behold them dear. This sentiment has grown bigger after listening to their other songs and the left stuff of their music.
I'm 25 and I remember this from when I was a kid........ I had, and still do have, a thing for guys with long hair so I thought they were all really cuuute! hehe. I kinda hated this song though, but it's fun hearing it now after all these years :D
Nothing bad to say about them. They all seem to have beat the fame stigma. Nice family boys, raised by great parents. All married with children and are talented as hell. WIN WIN for sure.
This version is SO much better than the origional one. This one actually has an elemant of SOUL incorporated into it, which makes ALL the difference- The vocals are OUTSTANDING!!!
My daughter Janine McKenzie has loved you guys since forever, for the past few years, on special occasions birthdays etc i have posted mmmbop to her, Tomorrow is one of her biggest days, She is getting married...so i shall be posting along with the original video this updated version....like Janine you have all grown up, I will still be posting mmmbop for all occasions that are special to her....x
It's amazing that you can still sing this song and make it sound awesome. Great work arranging the harmonies to fill that natural aging gaps ;) You're undervalued.
Without any longer being distracted by the novelty of three little kid brothers singing with little kid voices, the world can at last hear and acknowledge what a truly great pop song this has always been. Good job, guys, both then (1997) and now, and though you have moved forward and continued making fantastic music throughout the years, "Mmmbop" is an achievement for which you as musical artists should never feel any shame or embarrassment. (And I am sure it has probably paid quite a few bills for you as well!)
They're good musicians worth it. They still sound so clear to my ears. I like them for that. Well damnit i just said it! So what! I still enjoy their music!

I know that I'll take a lot of heat for this, but damn, these guys are great. They were borne great, and they still rock. We need to hear when your come back tour will be. I have a lot of songs that I would be happy to pitch to you. Please keep reaching for the stars. The music world needs great vocalist like you guys. Thanks!
Getting heat for this?! Man, you spoke true words! These 'kids' are great and remind me of the great close-harmony groups of my youth, like CSN, Little Feat and The Eagles, only with a little more funk in their music. They even sound a bit like the late great Robert Palmer used to ...miss him very much. Great stuff!
this song filled my childhood, 90's childhood. it's awesome to look their grown-up face. and they're still as cool as when they sang it 20 years ago. great job!
Darren Davenport They were in a sense but not even remotely close in another. Their voices have deepened a healthy bit form their original performance of this so naturally the pitch of the song is a little lower but taking that into account they still hit the notes just on a lower chord.
Not by much. Totally live no autotuner in sight. I'd say credit where credit's due in this age of false talentless music they are a shining light. ...and....mmmBop is such a great groove even when you take all the drums, bass, electric guitars and full on production away.
This song sounds so much better sung by a band almost 20 years later. The deepening of their voices really make the high notes less nasal and more bearable. I'm glad I rediscovered this band. :)
Yeah. Absolutely. I just wanted to write a comment myself, sth. like, "The tall one with the Cocker Spaniel hairdo turned out pretty hanson, uh, handsome!" But it is all of them. :-)
My mouth dropped open when I realized how old are now...wow...I still see those little pre-teens with the long hair. LOL! But, who am I kidding? I still see MYSELF as a kid! Guess the time has flown when were weren't looking ;) Still amazing music though! Great job, guys.

Marry me, +Maria Mes
Regardless of what the critics said about this song when it came out, it's one of those songs that just 'stays' with you.
"Hey we're Handsome" yes, yes you are
😂
I like your Barney Gumble & Otto Mann picture it's cool
I'm a guy and even I am agree with you 😂
Their harmonies are still killer
AGREED.
Family bands always nail their harmonies. The Jacksons, The Osmonds, The Everly Brothers, Sister Sledge, 3T all nailed their harmonies.
don't forget the big pappa of them all.. the BEACH BOYS!!!
asi es 👍
Still like the song
Issac's voice- country
Taylor's voice- pop
Zac's voice- rock
Theyre so harmonize...
This song never gets old.

Did they write this? Yuck.
I thought they were hot when I was kid, and they are all.. still.. fucking hot.. now.. holy shit..
What are u gay?
CrxRacer805 ...Yes??
Kilian Listens Awww! You are so right! Taylor has always been a hottie!
Shirahshell The two younger brothers are my favorites for sure. Always have been, always will be.
Kilian Listens I liked them equally in different ways. Because the younger brothers' voices have matured, the adult man harmonies don't stand out as much. Less of a rounding off and masculine note into the texture. But the way the group harmonizes at the end; lovely.
I'm 33 now and I've been their big fan since the first album. I feel like we're grown up together. Love you guys

Say what you want about these brothers but they are talented.
Nothing bad to say about them. They all seem to have beat the fame stigma. Nice family boys, raised by great parents. All married with children and are talented as hell. WIN WIN for sure.
So good. It's a shame people don't appreciate just how good they are.
The vocalist will always be the handsomest though. Always.
Bea Gruy with a little training he could totally do bowie covers.
yes hes still soooo cute. those gestures when he sings dang!!!
What about Zac.....
Before the youngest grew up
First look at this band.i thought their lead singer was a girl.damn!
This version is SO much better than the origional one. This one actually has an elemant of SOUL incorporated into it, which makes ALL the difference- The vocals are OUTSTANDING!!!
that hair flips 0:15 really made me realize on the importance of investing my money for some good hair conditioner

Can't deny these are def some boys who were able to keep their voices past puberty. They sound great... And are a thousand times easier on the eyes.
A good song is a good song. Then and now.

Awww..hanson 😍😍😍😍
A very clean version. A lot of groups don't sound as well in an acoustic format, but Hanson nails this classic chart-topper. Very well done!

gosh i love these guys grew up listening to this song
the fact that they actually sound amazing singing a song they sang before hitting puberty is amazing. you go hanson!
true talent never fades! i still love them! :)
totally love everything about it.
I've grown up listening to these guys. You guys rockkkkk....And the main vocalist wow
Wow indeed.
I know that I'll take a lot of heat for this, but damn, these guys are great. They were borne great, and they still rock. We need to hear when your come back tour will be. There is no come back tour. These guys have been playing non-stop since they were just 11, 9, and 6 years old. That's 22 years this year (1992-2014)
I'm gonna shit on you because you spelled the word "born" wrong.

Whoa, they were pitch perfect :O
I preferred their younger selves singing it.
they were ?
Darren Davenport They were in a sense but not even remotely close in another. Their voices have deepened a healthy bit form their original performance of this so naturally the pitch of the song is a little lower but taking that into account they still hit the notes just on a lower chord.
I mean, it was great but they did miss several notes. Not that being pitch perfect is required or anything, but they wern't :P
Not by much. Totally live no autotuner in sight. I'd say credit where credit's due in this age of false talentless music they are a shining light. ...and....mmmBop is such a great groove even when you take all the drums, bass, electric guitars and full on production away.

When I was little i thought it was a woman who was singing the song then years later i realized it was 3 brothers
one of the few artists that dont shit on the song that got them where they are today.
Hanson are legends. Unbelievably talented. Big love.

I always thought Stephen Baldwin was good looking, but after seeing him do some back-up vocals for Hanson, I'm convinced.
So may childhood memories here, 16 years later and this song can still brighten up my day :D
Wow! Memories! Love these grown-up, handsome, Hanson!

The Jackson's should take note, this is how you transition form child singers to adult singers
+Welshy bit too late for that mate
+Welshy Mmmbop survived adulthood from being child singers
Yeah!!... The Jacksons really should take note because Michael really failed in his attempt at a solo career...
Right? biggest star in the whole world, with a fuck ton fo records, huge fan base, philantropist and so much more should rly take notes from these 3 folks that survive with a one hit song they made a thousand years ago.
Yeah but look at how fucked up his life became because of his dad. not to mention false accusations too infamous to mention.
love this!
Me fez voltar a minha adolescência, amo vocês irmãos Hanson
