A lot of them were simply screwed up by the industry, or by parents who only cared about the money, using their kids as cash cows. No chance to fight back when you're young, and the damage is lasting.
Just bc they are a group. Music biz don't go after whole groups. Never. They just attack solo artists. They are on their own. You can't compare three brothers to a solo artist. Try to understand the psychology of the music biz.

Agreed! My first gf I ever had was huge into these guys. Superfan status. She wrote fanfic and all that stuff. Naturally, that's all she really listened to, so I got myself a copy and listened to it quite a bit. She passed away suddenly at 18 with no cause of death ever being found. After hearing the news from a mutual friend, I had to revisit the album from time to time in her memory.
