I request Honda Cars India to consider adding ventilated seats, as an option/accessory for front and back for the Elevate and the City. It would help the cars to stand out from competition. India doesn't need sun roof in the sweltering heat we experience. But ventilated seats is a necessity. Having owned the Amaze for the past five years and the seamless satisfactory experience with it, ventilated seats is the only thing missing in that car too.

This SUV has everything that other SUVs are also having. But the master stroke for Indian market that Honda need to be put an aggressive pricing.. lower than in its segment can make it a winner!
The biggest positives of Honda car is that you will not find any nonsense, man maximum machine minimum, practicality which actually matters more than those fancy features which we hardly use after a month or so and then comes the reliability of that 1.5 ltr NA iVTEC engine. I was an Ex Honda employee for 10 years but had to leave in Nov 2020. I left Honda but Honda never left me. You are a part of my ❤... Wish you more success.
you have to say it this was a make or break model for india thankfully honda has executed the vehicle pretty well and definitely if honda stays on this track they might even become the leading car company if they kept themself on the right trajectory this was the first sucessful honda car after the jazz
Nice efforts. Conservative and plain design and thats fine. Never mind the absence of certain features but not giving India the finest hybrid is unpardonable. Only single engine with manual and CVT is disappointing for those seeking both convenience, performance and fuel efficiency. Not giving Panaromic sunroof is acceptable and logical, but there is no reason for not having third rear head rest, no illuminated window switches, all 4 auto windows UP/DN, no proper TPMS, UV glasses. No under bonnet painting and improper gaps between chasis and fenders looks for a proper effort for engine bay dressing for safety from rodents , reptiles and rusting. A great effort by Honda, but nothing as an USP to attract buyers in segment flooded with so many varieties. Hybrid should have been there and that’s again a failed strategy from Honda. I will test drive it properly and if priced well (11.5 to 16.5 lakh plus or minus 25 K) while offering good performance and driving dynamics (about which I am sceptical especially with the CVT), will short list with priority and wait for hybrid either from Honda or Toyota corolla cross. Good luck Honda ❤
Completely agree with you, one thing they were mentioning in this video was about how good it's to drive, but in a segment where we have Kushaq and Taigun GT, no enthusiast will opt for Elevate, clearly Honda has failed to set a USP for this product and that maybe is what will drag it down, the only thing close to a USP is Honda's legendary ivtec engine but a lack of turbo option will hurt it still, even Maruti/Toyota set a proper USP with Hybrid powertrains which offset the fact that there was a lack of performance, VW went for proper safety and driving dynamics with multiple engine/transmission options as their USP. Hopefully they launch the great hybrid powertrain from city ehev for elevate as well.
Exactly... Hybrid was a must. Why is honda always behind when it comes to delivering technology or features when it's needed to please the customers, it's a do or die situation for Honda India and they didn't ELEVATE. I was eagerly waiting for this, so that I can exchange my honda city 5th gen with this. But it isn't hybrid or electric.
@@aswinshamsudeen6153 I can vouch for one thing. Honda must not have planned for hybrid in Elevate while they kept people waiting with their false statements post city ehev launch stating that this technology will be made available for mass market cars. This is not a bad car especially after seeing it in motion unlike the terrible unveil, however for me it stands as an incomplete car by todays expectations. I guess it must be priced between 11.5 to 16.5 lakh range. On the same lines i am sure that Honda will plan for a segment higher with hybrids. When even Honda as usual must not be clear i guess. Regarding electric, where is Honda BEV experience and products? Not a single one. Even then EV will remain a niche product on SUV segment for quite some time. With various issues both policy, economic and technology poses, EV is best suited for city if at all and i would consider anything above 15 to 20 is going to be a wasted investment for now. I can’t this post another 7 to 10 years though. So Elevate or whatever in EV will remain only a statement for Honda without much of economic sense by volumes. Thats what makes be unbelievable for a Honda not to have hybrid in this segment at this stage.
@@Liguritio Honestly I wouldn't buy an electric now . Hybrid option is the way forward for now. Features like panaromic sunroof or ventilated seats doesn't matter for me when car is such a pleasure to drive. Incorporating hondas hybrid engine itself would have satisfied the customers. It would have been a great success. But unfortunately I don't think it would sell as much as other competitors.
You guys are mentioning these comments without driving it... Typical Indian mentality.. And post driving it most of you will only end up buying it.. Again very Indian...
Reliability of Honda Cars is remarkable & unquestionable. Absence of panoramic sunroof is logical & justified - keeping in mind that it weakens a car's structure, attracts more heat into the cabin and moreover, it is considered unsafe. However: 1. keeping in mind India's weather conditions, Ventilated Seats should have been provided by Honda. 2. rear middle seat headrest is a must to have. 3. TPMS is also a necessity. 4. Sliding armrest in the front row should not have been missed. 5. Roll-up sunshades on the windows are also a necessity. Rest of the missing features, which are being offered by most of the competitors nowadays, may be acceptable to Indian customers, as these features are just cosmetic in nature. Honda must consider providing the above 5 requirements at the time of production to attract customers, boost its sales & compete in today's cut-throat markets.
Good work, honda! the car looks amazing. Hoping for the grand success of this vehicle. This shall create a new legacy, just like honda city. Certainly a better product than all current best sellers.
The Elevate, while not matching upto competition in features, will certainly prove to be a great all rounder. The road presence is stunning - neither too imposing nor understated. The dechromed front looks fab too. The proven and superbly refined iVTEC has been perfected by Honda, and is probably the best naturally aspirated engine in it's category. You can't beat a Honda at space management, so do expect to be able to carry a ton of luggage. I hope Honda rectifies the lack of a headrest and three-point seatbelt in the rear bench in the production version. The other anticipated features - 360 degre camera, ventilated seats, pano sunroof - are not big deal breakers.

Good road presence. Good boot space. Good seat comfort. Good build quality. Good security features with Adas. Good ground clearance. Full hybrid is not a big problem. Because this increases the difference in price. And it takes years to cover the cost. The panoramic sunroof that is loved by people nowadays is not good in the hot weather of India. But if Honda gives ventilated seats in this car then it can be a big 😀. Overall, if Honda can offer the Elevate at a competitive price, it can give a tough fight to the rivals.
This is their first suv... They have time to update all the tech in the future with facelifts... This is called long term strategy, something citroen also uses... Building brands with profit and gradually increasing sales... Nissan magnite also did this and now they are providing tech in updates each year like recent geza edition...

People in india are just crazy for feature (kam mai zyada mil jae)
They dont even realise that 70% of the features are useless and they wont use them. Engine and gearbox are the main thing for a new car that needs to be tested. This engine is as you only told tried and tested in indian roads by the legendary city. So dont see the view to wait for a year to see how this car works. If one wants I guess V variant like in city will be around 14 (ex showroom) and can be bought by many.
The fact that it is tailored to India feels really gratifying. Thanks for this and good luck
It's so great to hear that you're impressed with our All-New Honda Elevate!
I have solid trust on 1.5NA iVTEC. It will surely give tough fight to the current world of Turbos. Can't wait to see 0-100 test against rivals. Good luck Honda!
It is better than competitors, Just like BRV was, hope Honda will put required efforts this time.
Oh my god this looks jaw dropping!!!
Thanks for the appreciation.
Such a stunner! I just wish it's priced competitively
This looks like a very promising car for the Indian market . Though I have a car , I will still test drive it when it is available here .
Extremely excited to see the car
That's wonderful to hear!
Price it well and you have a winner . And yes give ventilation to the seats . And a rear headrest for the 3rd passenger . That’s it. Will upgrade my amaze to the elevate
I wish Honda all the Best and being one of my Favorite Automobile Company, I want it to do well.
Please price it well so these are is accessible to the masses and be True to your Tagline

Beautiful design ❤
I wish you guys all success!
Thanks for the wishes.
@@HondaCarsIndiaVentilated seats will make it stand out. It's the much needed feature
Will look forward for Black/Dark edition. Will look stunning in Black 💯
Just wow
It looks MASSIVE!!
Wooo it have very bold front design !!!
Beautiful
Honda and India
This is the only car maker here who keeps on producing the best looking cars with the most reliable engines with a best resale value
This is not a Honda fan review but the fact
Just remember those looks of our Old honda cars here comes Another Gem❤ loved it
This is the encouragement we needed!
Hope it will have enough features to beat competition
Was looking forward to this car, but the absence of a hybrid powertrain is making me shift to options like Grand Vitara/Urban Cruiser Hyryder!
I'm in love with this SUV, i don't need features. I need Safety, Space, high ground clearance, sober desigine and most imp realiable engine as well as fun to drive. I think #HondaElevate will full-fill all those criteria❤
very good video.
"hi5, namaste" nice video buddy:-*
Great job Honda!!
I recently brought on may 25 it's really a game changer car yrr I loved❤ it
Very nice emotional appeal to Indians. Good work Honda & Thanks. Just hope that lack of Panoramic Sunroof & Ventilated Seats shouldn't be a deal breaker vis a vis the competition in this segment
Seltos ki watt lag gayi hain because of aadha sunroof, inspite one of best sellers. Toh ye ghanta chalegi
@@gurvindervirdi6079 cry
@@gurvindervirdi6079lallu log hi lenge Seltos...unhe toh ghanta pata hoga build quality hoti kya hai aur kaise pia ham Indians ko pappad bech raha hai😂 and classy and wise log Elevate lenge
I hope elevate actually elevates honda market and stay in competition in India . I don't want honda to leave indian market
Awd with 120+ ps power and Panoromic dual panel opening sunroof required. By 2025 first quarter I will wait for this release..
Also, incorporate some hybrid tech which will make the car fuel efficient by 21-22 kmpl on actual usage.
We INDIAN's are old fashioned to the core but this generation we want best comfort for our Elderly Parents..in the 2nd row..something like Recli er seats ..for maximum comfort to senior Citizens. It may cost 50k more rupee but Our Parents Comfort is of most importance.
Namaste Honda! Hope and pray Elevate keeps Honda's hold in the Indian market strong, bold and growing...Honda fans wish more and more such products coming in...products like Jazz, WR-V, HR-V, Brio, city hatch, et al
