PSA: Buy after the Enhanced Community Quarantine is lifted. Remember guys, stay at home, stay safe and and wash your hands. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
"Announced in 2016" lol Good days were back when user could replace battery. Back then you could replace almost every part of your phone with just screwdriver. I still have my S4 from 2013, i replaced battery few times and charging port. On newer phones you need to heat up glue and open up the phone which is not that hard but needs more equipment and skill. Even old iPhones were easy enough to fix, these days they are almost impossible for standard user.
Has been 4 years since I got p9 lite and last week I experienced sudden battery charge drop , I managed to being it back by lettin it turned off when it goes out of power and then letting it charge till it reach 100 percent which took like 7 hours (...) After doin this for two times its almost like how it was before. It delays the corruption of the battery but at the end It has to be replaced.
Lol 2-3 years on android? 😂😂 my s6 still works perfectly even thou i have my s10 plus now 😂 your phone's life depends on how you use it regardless if ios or android

Been using my Asus ZenFone 3 Zoom for about 2 years and 3 months, not sure for the month count. And, you're correct, Android lacks software updates. This phone, I think, had 5 software updates in total, 2 are for jumping to a new Android version, others are for patches and bug fixes. From Marshmallow to Nougat to Oreo. I'm still happy with its performance, however I am starting to encounter issues with it AMOLED screen, the burn at the top part, and seems to have issue to all units, after long term use, when the phone's brightness is low, the top part of the screen is flashing as hell.
I have my Oppo F1s since December 2016, I still have it in my possesion. Until now I'm still using it, running smooth and the battery still considerable. I really believe it depends to the user. Even my LG G2 mini still running smooth even it is not updated (my oldest phone i have now). Oppo F9 added in my possesion last December 2018 It runs very smooth, the battery runs in its optimum level and the screen still vibrant, the apps runs very well. Scratches is unavoidable. Thanks for the info Yuagtech. More power! More videos in the future.
Still using my iPhone 5 for 3 years now and still fine. I’ll just wait for another year before considering buying new because powerful phones are getting cheaper (android)
I'm still currently using my Samsung Galaxy s7 rn and have had it for over 4 years and it still runs like a champ. I have no plans of replacing it any time soon tbh.
Real me 1, almost 3 years (if June comes up), and it surprisingly runs like a brand new phone, perfect battery, no lags, nothing :) Infact, I don't even charge my phone most of the times, and it lasts up to a day or two at even at 50 percent
I’m still using the iPhone 6s that I bought last 2015 and it still works perfectly fine. That is why I’d rather choose an iPhone than an Android phone. No hate tho, just real talk.

I'm using my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Exynos Version for almost 4 Years. And its still working fine. I never noticed a slowdown or degrade in the Battery.

My oppo neo 7 (a1603) is about 4year 3month old. I got it about 1year ago and from that day, i am using it without any case . Now power button don't work, it is still runing on lollipop and security patch is maybe 4 year old. I am amazed that the battery is fine. Maybe it still have 75% battery performance left . I think i can use it a year if the battery stays fine
Vivo V3 used it for 3 years it gives a battery backup of abt 3 hours of on screen time with normal usage. Bought a new phone realme 3 pro, it is leaps beyond my old V3. Though i like the form factor of V3 more.
I have been using Xperia x for about 2 year. And now it is showing some signs of depletion. I got a display problem and I fixed it by reinstalling OS and now there is a charging port problem. Am I the only one who's facing the problems...
iphone 6 now for over 5 years. Fell in our swimming pool at only .5 year. was submerged for 7-10 minutes. Rescued it in a food dehydrator and had to put a new glass screen on it then. 2.5 years later the battery was replaced. It's still running just fine right now but apple is not updating it with the latest software anymore. Just bought a new one today.
If you respect your phone your phone will respect you. My Google Pixel 2 is still running mega strong. I even switched to an iPhone for 6 months and liked it but not enough to get completely sucked into the "ecosystem" Apple has good products but has anyone tried using Google? It destroys what Siri can even do.
I’ve had my iPhone 5s for almost seven years now. The volume down button failed pretty early and for the past two years the charging port has become so worn out that charging has become difficult and is now at the brink of being un-usable, therefore with a heavy heart I’m saying goodbye to my loyal iPhone 5s as I await my iPhone 12 mini to replace it in about a week. I will miss my old phone but I hope it’s succsessor will be just as dependable. Looking forward to to spending the next decade with the with the iPhone 12 mini.
i had a 3-year old Huawei Y6 pro, then just December of last year I upgraded it to a Poco F1(6/128) that i bought for 10k. it's so satisfying how fast this phone is, even it is already 2020 the SD 845 can still outperform even some 2020 phones out there. it is really well optimized tho.
i have used samsung j2(16) that give me service from 2016-2021 more then 5 years. i broke its display accidantly. storage, battery problem but it was smooth. now i dont know what should i buy.
I'm using oppo neo7! I'm using it for 5 years and still OK but when I'm playing it's hanging so after this crisis I'm planing to buy a new realme phone
My Redmi 4A last for 6 years in my hands. It still run smoothly. Just the battery. Charged it for an hour and just last in your hands with 7-8 hours with minimum usage.
Still using the Moto Z2 Play. Don't want to change it, but the battery is slowly inflating and there's a small crack on the rear camera glass. I'll miss my Moto Mods 😭
I had an Asus Zenfone Selfie for 5 years, it's still working, but it's battery drains way to fast and runs way too slow to run games. Then this January, I finally got a new phone which is the Huawei nova 5t and I'm extremely happy with this phone since it has the flagship kirin 980 chipset for me to play heavy games.
my samsung note 8's LCD just broke a few days ago. I brought it at the pre order. that means it's around 5 year use... and I still feel bad about buying new one. Do I have money issues???

My first phone is Nokia 3210 my problem now is the case I can't find a replacement, second is Nokia C3-03 I bought it year 2011 and both of them still usable. I also own a Nokia Lumia 1020 but problem to it is the software since Windows already down their updates for Windows phone. Right now I have Nokia 7.2 and 2.2 as my daily driver, I don't have problems for the software update since both of them are stock android and this is why I prefer Nokia over Chinese brand coz of durability and quality of their products.

How about Li-po battery it's safe? I'm using my phone with a non removable lithium polymer battery for almost 2 years i use my phone while charging everyday but nothing changes is it good? Who's better? Li-po or Li-ion?
my iphone 6plus lasted me for over 6 years until i changed to a new one due to compatibility issues. it still works but there are apps that i need to operate which cant be run on ios 12. it sucks. i wish developers could fix some issues so people who got the old generation phone could still use it
The smartphone I have used the longest was Alacatel Pop 3 (5). Bought in 2015, it still works fine up to this date. I have already replaced the battery though and it's stuck in Android L version. My other phones: Flash Plus 2 - 4 years and still kicking Asus Zenfone 3 - 4 years and works fine Huawei Nova 3 - Almost 2 years and still works fine although it's not included in Android 10 update. 😢 Gonna buy a new one this coming Christmas season.
I'll definitely recommend iPhone for those people who likes 5 year support of updates and high end chipset or maybe 4 years is the longevity, but the battery depletes overtime, android usually has 2 or 3 years updates support.
My dad bought the s7 edge in 2017. I had it since 2019. And in that phone.. everything. The screen is broken and it needs hours to be charged. But the better life is still good and it works like a new one. I got a new phone 2 weeks ago btw
Same. But little differences. My father bought j7 16 on 2016. And iam using it from 2019 onwards. It had replacement of motherboard and front glass . And iam looking to use it for another year .
Im using xperia T3 (2014) rn. I preordered a new one but got delayed bcoz of covid19. Now im tying myself on outlet with my phone since the lifespan of the batt is rip.
Probably my Galaxy Note 5. Kahit 4 years pa lang siya, it's been through being used by children (queue multiple drops) and being dropped into water and not used for months. Up to now it's still working albeit the screen burning has sadly affected it badly :((
I have my LG v30 but thinking about the OnePlus 8 Pro because the v30 stopped updates at Android 9 with no plan to go past that. Nothing wrong with the phone and I love it but it becomes a security risk
Used a Galaxy S7e for 2.5 yrs, beautiful and still has remarkable performance gave it to my mother when she bought me a newer S10+, as of now usable pa daw ung S7e :) SKL
Huawei and one plus are best for android. I am currently using realme 6 pro its was launched few months ago. The operating sytem is so crappy that my apps takes 2 sec to open. Sometimes some apps crash and stop responding. Whereas my xr i bought few days ago is working fabulous.❤️❤️❤️
I have Huawei P10, and so far i don't have any problem when it comes to performance it's still smooth. But the battery can only last up to 3 hours straight when I'm using mobile data.
I'm a very clumsy person, but i got a samsung J7 and it was a champ, it fell all the time and walked away unscaved, and the thing that broke it was a massive powerbank fell on it. and even after that i used it for a good 5 months.
i have a chery mobile flare s100 for 5 years, I can tell that It was struggling for the last 2 years. I bought a redmi nite 9s and now. I want this phone to last 10 years
Been using Galaxy Note 3, last 2 years for about 3 years. After the phone got slower, I rooted it and install some custom roms. Works perfectly again until someone dropped and wont open again
Who else remember *samsaung j7 prime* version 6.0.1 marshmallow i still have that and i bought it 2 months after release! 4.7 years and still smooth as ever!
It's not actually a smartphone but the longest mobile I've ever owned was an alcatel one touch (safeguard soap) phone. It lasted me from 1999 until 2006 when I fully switched to a palm treo 650. I only replaced the battery a few times and more than once it ran on 4 AA sized batteries. Now that's longevity.

Using p9 lite from last 5 years..still perfect 💜
Did you replace the battery ?
Mine died and replace it with A5 2020.
@@HAMADAXIII i didnt.. but slightly change in consumption like on screentime which was 7 hours have changed into 6 hours so yeah a difference is

My dad bought the s7 edge in 2017. I had it since 2019. And in that phone.. everything. The screen is broken and it needs hours to be charged. But the better life is still good and it works like a new one.

I have my LG v30 but thinking about the OnePlus 8 Pro because the v30 stopped updates at Android 9 with no plan to go past that. Nothing wrong with the phone and I love it but it becomes a security risk

J7 Prime for 4 years. Plan on getting a Mi 10T to replace my old pal.
