You Left out a massive amount of info on these caves, just lost 3 kits and 2 tames because you lazily god mode through these caves just to push out content.. Please do more in depth videos instead of this bs, you cant fly in caves, you cant touch the ground in the temple, there's poisonous gas in the spider cave, etc..
Joey Hudson lazy is the one who doesnt find out for himself and goes into caves without preparation ;)

11.15 its best if you fly down here...err no.you cant fly in ab zone...
The red zone is easier to find if you go to the aberration area from the cave at around 39 56, if you just keep following the right wall you will eventually run into the red zone. Hoped that helped someone :)
In the spider cave use a ravager, where you drop down after getting the first artifact make a zip line down, get the 2nd artifact then go back up the zip line, jump back over the gap, next room has two tunnels, right is back towards the entrance, take the left until you come to a biggish room, go down the tunnel on the right and you'll come to some water, swim through to the artifact then go back the way you came and take a left, it's a lot faster the way Steve went plus you can go in and out on a mount

I just roll in with my wyvern let em all bunch up on me land and bite till they all die
Heck, my Argy handles the wyverns pretty well. Just get the to chase you near the ceiling- their turn radius is awful so once you get on their inside just claw them till they drop.

supreme tacos yeah but the problem is that quetz are onexistant on that map...

Although it's easier to drop down through the water hole, it's not easy to get back up. There's another entrance to the aberrant cave that's a smooth walk all the way down and back up, don't know the coordinates though sorry

It's like the swamp cave on island. It's supposed to be like that
You cant fly into the cave with the Devourer and Brute artifact anymore on official. You have to fight through but there is an exit out of the cave without flyers or grappling hooks. Right under the artifact of the devourer there is a passage that leads to a water area. You can swim up it and get out that way and end up just before the drop at the start
Use a deinonychus?
Full ghille suit with bug repellant lets you avoid almost all of the fighting, and you can run from the ones that aggro you. Just bring your ghille, a basic pick, a couple crossbows (one for ziplines, one for hooks) and an assortment of zipline anchors and grappels, plus some gas and a zipline motor. If you die, you didn't lose a tame or anything irreplaceable.
You can fly down the big drop in the waterfall in the beginning for some reason, but nowhere else. So it is definitely possible to fly out that way on offical (just did it yesterday). You can't fly anywhere else though.

Its not really that hard, once you get around learning cave paths. Takes max 5 minutes to get all 3
Less confusing, more dangerous. Seriously, the shear amount of enemies in that cave, combined with the poison air, and those damn Centipedes breaking your gear. Not to mention the fucking leaches! and the cave is too small to bring any really decent combat mounts.
Yeah forreal and trying to get back out is a pain

I enjoyed doing the caves on TheIsland. The ones on this map are just annoying. And if you don't watch videos (like I didn't initially), you're stuck going in, finding out what things you need to bring with you, leaving, coming back with those things, finding out further in you need something else, leaving, coming back, etc.
And then being surprised with stuff like insta-death floors, rooms large enough you have respawns while you're IN the room, and more.
And even worse, the fact that some of the artifacts are in a complex/difficult cave WITH the Broodmother in front. And she drops nothing of value herself.
My server has 20 Megatherium, 4 Yutys, and 6 Allosaurus just parked in her pit set on wander. Wall on the slope in, and a wall keeping them out of the cave (with door & gate for anyone to use). Stops her from ever respawning again, and nobody has complained yet.

So for the Cunning.. Is there a pre-requisite? I am in that spot and no artifact
I know this is 4 years old but after you get the Brute, when you say "there's a straight tunnel here, and then a ramp and a right turn, and we go right" if you actually go straight, it will take you to the beginning. I could see where I parked my wyvern from where you said to go right.

Agreed, all this documented exploration over a few days collated and edited masterfully. I come here for the giggles but mostly for the cunning overall quality of Steve's educational work. Amaaaaazing! He should be registered at the National Archive ;)

There's a water route out of the Devour cave its in the devourer cavern you basically swim up and out

Flak BP loot drops: The cave he showed that has loot drops and an artifact. There are no enemies so you can just go there and grab the crates.
There is one artifact cave that spawns 3 loot drop grates and I get to have always twice each.. wait another hour and then everything spawns again.. rich voilaa

Got stuck in the abb zone as it threw me off my flyer would of been great to know this as I have just lost wyvern mut pt and ascendant gear and shotgun
there is an other entery too there u can easy walk in and out the zone

What is the purpose of the artifacts? Do they get me anything, I found the destroyer before looking it up but no videos explain what this is for. Is it just for bosses or can I get some kind of loot from it?
This map is way freaking dangerous than I expected...

Its is possible. I got the artifact of the skylord after that Video with 3 friends. Killed all the dragons and got a real good EQ to explore the cave. Maybe we got a little bit luck also.
We all can agree the creator of this video doesnt really play. Its easy to tell when people only get stuff on creative mode. None of the key advice was given.
@@murker1879 you obviously havent watched the hundreds of hours of nooblets vidoes where he plays on pvp official. the point of this video is to show you the locations of the artifacts, not how to kill all the dinos guarding it.
@Mo Eniodunmo you can fly in the wyvern "cave" and the easy fire cave and cave in the snow but not in aberration or most of the jungle temple.

What this tutorial fails to mention (because he likes to just fly cam everything) is that the broodmother cave is swarming with op bugs, as well as being full of toxic gas. Good luck solo'ing this without some kinda of pumped up mount as strong as a rex, but small enough to get through the narrow corridors.
I got all three of them on my second try with a Deinonychus. Real monsters. I love them.

20:20 i dont think thats the way out. Friend of mine said he got dismounted at the entrance already and we went in with deinos. Behind the purple Artifact at the bottom is a small swimming section that will make u take suffocation damage probably, electrical eel spawns there aswell so depending on the amount it could get really tricky.

In the temple for Devourer + Brute how are you able to fly in?
I tried on an argy and an pteradon and it flings me off at random spots and I am then unable to even get back on my flyer. Even on the ground.
I eventually can get back on but it's terrifying not knowing which bit is safe and which isn't lol.
Soon as I entered I got flung off, landed right into the water with all the eels. No idea how but I got out and survived lol

Do the artifacts respawn? Lets say you get the artifact then die with it or you just wanna do the boss fights over again is there a way to get them again?
If you have an otter you can wait for the artifact to respawn and collect multiple

I liked the video but there are a couple of places where you missed throwing the GPS up. But great video like always.
I always showed them in the starting location and if they are underground gps cords wouldnt not have helped:P

I made it to the Devourer one, but there's just an empty ledge where it should be. I'm on single player, so nobody else could have taken it.

Took my snow owl in for the sky lord- I left with a quarter of his health remaining. But we got it- and a ice wyvern egg on the way out
I went into the aberration map with my argy not knowing it would take me off and I couldn’t get back on

Just a little info, Manas cannot dive in the Aberration zone. Will be a sad day when Official server transfers open. Hopefully they fix it before then.
Gets to the abb zone and says best to fly down here lol. Not all of us will be playing in spectator mode lol
