Might want to note that those drops in the big cavern leading to the artifact of the devourer are an insta death trap, you die no matter what.

get the artifacts in the opposite order from this video, then you can quickly get out from the back of the massive cave under water. Use wings, hooks, and bring in some allos to ride to kill bats, and get black pearls.
Note: YOU CANNOT TAKE FLYERS INTO THE SKY TEMPLE

I told my friend to not fall into the pit of infinite death, he jumped in anyways and lost essentially his good gear
i love how you explained the way out, you didnt realise at the time but, the first room below the bridge is actually surrounded by a circle path, that path has two exits other than going around in a ring, those being the artifact rooms, one thing you didnt explore however was in the first room where the artifact is in the room, theres a small water buit at the back of the room, i havent gone creative myself so didnt go in, but wonder if theres an underwater path there.
It leads out.. lotta vertical swimming upwards but it leads out
Pro tip take your bird in a cryopod when you need to go under the water.

You cant take flyers into that cave and when you drop into the water.. there is electric eels attacking you and when you get out of the water there are high level insects on you. I used a megalania that is now RIP. Thanks to this video. I have been advised to just get the easy one from Ragnarok
Note: To people watching this now you can no longer fly into this cave, at least on console, which I assume applies to PC as well.

S S gamma 4 doesn’t do much ur best off with a shine pet on ur shoulder, cave lighting is intentionally meant to increase difficulty in some caves

cant fly in it i literally got fked
Impossible without cheating. Can't fly in there anymore (tried yesterday) Need the devourer Artifact to unlock the Tec stuff so teleporting different dinos in is out of the question. Went in at lv100 with full riot gear and was armed to the teeth with Pump action Shotgun and 300 ammo. Went in with a high level Deinonychus. The bats near the Devourer Artifact destroyed the Deinonychus in seconds and I didn't last much longer. The shotgun was useless killed a few of them but there are so many you don't stand a chance.
Holyhesk go slow and take ur time picking off the bats and Arthros in small groups
Not impossible and the way out is through the water passage at the back of the Devour cave the only hard part is finding the rock to break

I agree.. you can try zip lines and so on but basically as soon as you drop on your attacked. I lost a high level meg trying this.
You need to bring cooked meat and a above average deino saddle
