    The seat comes with tie down anchors to keep the seat from falling out. If yours didn’t come with them, check back with where you purchased it. Good video, love the 10T!

      Live 2 Fish appreciate the feedback! Where are the anchors located? I have the cords to tie down but no anchor point to tie them down to.

      The cords is what I was referring to. There should be a diagram to show you how to tighten them down to secure the seat. That should keep it locked it if you flip it.

    The only thing that keeps me from getting this is the weight. It's heavy for a 10 ft yak.

    • @Tee_Ward

      Durable lol 🙌🏻

      @@Tee_Ward lol wow. There's many lighter yaks that are durable as well. Lol

      If there's a will there's a way. Lighter kayaks have thinner walls and bottoms. This 10 T is made of the same material's as yeti coolers. It's thick and will take a lot of roughness. Figure a away to transport it by attaching a 2 wheel system. Don't drag your yak and damage it.
      This is actually a great product and with all the extras that people feel should have come with it, it would cost you more. The fun is in customizing it. Enjoy!

    What was the purpose of the wheels on the milkcrate? I figured it was to roll the kayak, but I cant figure out how you'd do that with the other mods you added?

      @Tee_Ward  4 года назад +1

      Mauro Daniele You’re right! It is in fact to transport the kayak. The mods dont overhang or get in the way of the kayak. It works pretty good actually. I’ll make a video on that as well. Thanks for the question 👍🏻

    What type of paddle holder is that?

    • @Tee_Ward
      @Tee_Ward  4 года назад +1

      Bryce Bassin Its the “RailBlaza® QUIKGRIP Paddle Clip”. Purchased mine from Cabelas. Comes ready to mount on a rail accessory mount. Highly recommend!

    Nice yak!!! Just subbed!!! I’m getting the same one at Cabela’s next month. Check out Marty Hoskins video of a no drill pvc raised seat bracket. I’m going to take his idea a step further, and put a piece of marine grade plywood on it, and attach a swivel mount bass boat seat. You can get outriggers off of Wish for around $100 bucks for added stability. It’s cheaper to buy the bars separate from the bags. Shipping is reasonable to.

    Im gonna be real with you I have never used a kayak in my life not one single time, but I always wanted one cause it seems like a fun thing to do and something I would truly enjoy. This video has inspired me to never buy a kayak... ever.

    I weigh a little over 260 pounds so you think that it would be sturdy enough for me

    • @Tee_Ward
      @Tee_Ward  4 года назад +1

      TJ Overton Would be sturdy enough unless you’re wanting to take advantage of standing and fishing. In that case with your stature i would take the safe route and go with the 12 footer. Unless you have extremely good balance. Otherwise if you just sit and fish this would be plenty good enough. Thanks for the question. Hope i could help with your decision. 👍🏻
