Thx for the review. Grabbed these from a TJ Maxx store on 12/24/23 in the checkout isle for $79.99 (only one on sight so grabbed just to try). Turns out to be one of my fave headsets so far. No connection issues using Galaxy S23, lightweight, app features awesome and ANC/Transparency modes do more than the job. Had to do a software update after pairing which may be the reason no issues experienced from my end.
@@vishnu8643 I don't own these, but I am confident that ANC won't work if the headphones are off and you're just listening to passive audio through an aux cable.
This headphone is really good for the price. My only gripe on this is the transparency, it doesn’t magnify the sound of your environment, anc is actually better than a lot of reviews on youtube, remember the anc or ambient mode works better if you wear your headphone correctly. Sound is great, not a lot of muddy bass and clarity is great. Not a lot of instrument separation but still great sound. Call quality is above average, clear voice. It’s very light as well so although it heats up on hot weather, no pain wearing it for hours. Overall for the price this is a great buy.
I own this headphone, your review is spot on and very accurate. This headphone can't cancel loud talking sound, which is quite disappointing, but for sound quality is not bad for this price.
Got this Headset two days ago . IT Sounds so good. Got eq from Reddit. Just have to leave them playing for about 15 hours at max for the burn in of the drivers to BE Set to IT best Potential. Been having then on my head for 20hrs Now.❤
Hi, thank you for your review of these headphones. You mention about the Bluetooth cutting out and stopping. I have the exact same pair of these and I had this issue when I updated to the most recent firmware of these headphones I had the same thing happened to me and I had to return them and get a replacement unit. What I did on my second replacement unit I just did not do the update in the app and they worked fine and still working fine with no Bluetooth cutouts. Why I am saying all this because maybe you updated to the most recent version of the Sony update? If that is the case, then it will be the actual update which is causing your headphones to randomly disconnect if I was you and if they are still in warranty which I’m quite sure they are is to return them and get a replacement unit but do not do the update. Sony make great products but when it comes to their updates, they are absolutely terrible. I have a pair of the Sony link buds and I have not deliberately updated them as because the update for the link buds actually reduces the battery life for them. If Sony just got their act into gear with their updates then their products would be basically some of the best in any product range.
Hi. This is one of the greates review of this headphones I´ve ever seen. Are you sure that we can hear them when connecting via cable 3.5mm even when the battery of these headphones dies?
Sorry if I’m late but I have one: Soundcore Space Q45. I’m a real person who owns these headphones. Their ANC is SUPREME, man.. it can cancel out lots of noise, especially considering its price point. Not only that but, their build quality is great and they are comfortable. Everything about then is great, easy to recommend!
thanks for the review. I'm thinking about picking one up for my 1 year old for a flight mainly due to the light weight and ANC. Has firmware updates fixed some of the issues mentioned? I couldn't find any alternative options that is similar in weight as these.
Love the videos. Thanks for the information. I was just curious; For editing audio and video before final cuts, which wireless headset do you recommend? in this prime range or a little less than Slate VSX?
Have you tried a factory reset? It worked for me regarding disconnects hold the power button and the pause button on the headphones at the same time for around 10 to 12 seconds the blue power led will flash a few times job done hope this helps 👍👍😀😀😀😀
i just ordered mine but i'm mainly going to use it for my desktop setup, does it have an app for windows or do i adjust these setting only on their mobile app?
Only app is on mobile. If the 720 is dual connected with your phone and windows computer, then whatever adjustment you make in the app (ex. equaliser) it'll adjust on your computer audio.
The only issue that I have with Sony Wireless Earphones 🎧 headphones is the ⚠️ ( BLUETOOTH CONNECTION ISSUES ) In call sometimes media too. But the sound quality is very great.
indonesian pricing seems to be similar to japanese official store price: 1999000 idr (133.24 usd) 3rd party retailers: 1790000 idr (119.31 usd) i guess i’m grabbing this soon since while the soundcore q45 costs 105.91 usd its treble is meh and the options to set the eq to bass is… questionable. sony seems to have greatly improve this from the 710’s
I've had the oportunity of testing the 720n vs the Philips tah8506 that are cheaper and honestly, Philips ONLY loses to transparency mode and the APP features, all the rest Philips is way better. Better anc by far, better sound out of the box by far, same Confort, better features for example the left hand on the ear CUP to talk to someone, hardcase, better mic for calls by far, and better looking... I dont understand why no One is doing reviews on the Philips tah8506 has they are One of the best budget headphones on the market, i can buy them under 100€ at the time. Philips is clearly underrated at this time
@@ahsisjdvdve2022 I did not find them a lot useful as, 1. After 15-20 mins of use it hurts a little around the ears. 2. It’s ANC is not as effective as my AirPods Pro, a little attenuation of background noise, that’s it. Overall for peace of mind it’s better to go for better ANC headphone which cost around 20k. I sometimes use them by using my Airpods Pro inside and covering them with these Sony headphones to enhance the ANC as my house is next to the highway. Quality of sound/music is good, battery backup is exceedingly surplus, but it’s nowhere near Airpods Pro ANC feature. That’s a small compromise when I know that these come for 1/3rd the price. I did not go for Sound care as I know that Sony is a reliable brand, and I did not know much about Soundcare. Also, in many of the Sony reviews I have seen that they say that the cushioning is soft and it’s comfortable, but even if the cushioning is soft, it starts to pain after 15-20mins of use.

in terms of anc in a mid tier over the ear which would be better than these in your opinion?
