Wow. Asuming Batman can't block out the influence of Diana's golden perfect, Him answering "Batman" means the whole Bruce Waine part is just for pretence. That he really thinks if himself as Batman.
I remember an episode of Batman Beyond. They were trying to make Bruce Wayne believe he was insane. Using audio speakers to make him believe he was hearing voices. The big mistake was that it kept calling him Bruce. He later explained that's not what he calls himself in his head. Terry said, "That's my name now." Bruce replied, " Tell that to my psyche."
Its great writing. Superman answers Clark and Kal, signifying he identifies as a human and a kryptonian. Superman has reconciled the apparent differences in his identity. I'm just confused on the whole origin thing, because last I checked, them meeting during Darkseid's first invasion was their first meeting Wonder Woman. @Jay-eq9gb But, everything from Red Hood and the Outlaws to Heroes in Crisis to Green Arrow working for Amanda Waller's JLA to Batwoman dating Nocturna has been referenced since Rebirth and after.
