Barred Owls of Midtown Tulsa

Established in 2014, BOOMT is a community of neighbors & viewers from around the world devoted to stewardship of Barred Owl mates 'Owlbert' & 'Chanel' (pron like the perfume). We believe Owlbert & Chanel probably 10 or 11 yrs old. Their nest is a large hollow inside a River Birch Tree on a busy neighborhood street in Midtown Tulsa.
Because BO's don't migrate, our stream is live 24/7 365 days a year. There are two mini cameras mounted inside the tree. Across the street, a commercial grade PTZ captures comings & goings outside the nest front door. We are fortunate to have a great team of nest cam experts & moderators led by "Grandad" and "D", who monitor the stream, record data, & answer questions posted in the chat feed.
