  • The Matrix is a metaphor for something very real. Closed-mindedness, shallow thinking, and cheap dopamine is how you stay in its chains. Open-mindedness and becoming a deep, free, and critical thinker is how you break free. And... those skills spill over into your creative work, business, and life. This is for you if you want to join the New 1%.

Thank you for sharing your content. I strongly suggest you study the works of Carlos Castaneda. You seem to be right on the edge of what the Toltec Seers call the Truths of Awareness. Be warned, however, there are forces aligned against us coming to know these truths (as they would set us free) that make these revelations hard to absorb. You seem to have developed enough discipline to conserve enough energy to succeed in this endeavor. I wish you well.

Appearances to the mind are of four kinds:
Things either are what they appear to be
or they neither are nor appear to be
or they are and do not appear to be
are they are not and yet appear to be.
Rightly to aim in all these cases is the wise mans task
      ~Epictetus

First eliminate all fear from your self. This is tough. Took me years. Then focus on your goal, money, solving a problem even if it’s in someone else’s control or whatever it is. Sit in a peaceful place and focus on what you want. Then ask for it out Loud. You may be shocked at the outcome. Seems cheesy but you may not get what you want but you will get what you need. We are all connected. By thinking and asking you are putting in an order. I don’t do this everyday. But when I have it had surprising results. Also if you haven’t already, stop watching or reading the news. It’s putting negativity directly in your consciousness whether you know it or not. It’s design is to lower your vibrations. I was deep into Terence McKenna 30 years ago. I study Manley P Hall, Kybalion and Neville Goddard lately.

Dude! 44 year old dad/husband/business owner here and I’ll tell you this…
For decades I’ve had an overwhelming amount of information, knowledge, wisdom, experiences “trapped” in my brain not knowing what to do with it.
That is until your 7 Day Challenge!
The way it’s laid out - and the questions you have us ask ourselves - has opened the flood gates.
After going through it, I immediately snatched up your 2 Hour Writers Course without hesitation.
I’m almost done going through it the first time and I cannot wait to run through it again and begin implementing it.
Anyone thinking of getting the courses…DO IT!
    Thanks, Dan!

Great video boss! Really liked the idea of our mind putting "limits on infinity". Pretty hard to conceptualize but its a good way to explain why our minds created the everyday consciousness (the matrix) to control or understand the underlying intelligence (spiritual)

    • @StennMathis
      @StennMathis Год назад +2

It's more the 'everyday consciousness' was created by others with influence (from politics to academia to the simple written word (the word was 'god')...it's all other peoples consciousness that your're indoctrinated with since the schoolroom), most people have never actually used their own brain to be fair...(to echo that sentiment in the film when Neo asks "Why do my eyes hurt" Morpheus"Because you've never used them"...Most of us have never used our brains...Sometimes when we do it starts to hurt...Well, no pain no gain.

Really interesting point about how to find that edge of insight: consciously ask yourself "what do I *not* know about this yet?" and fill in the gaps.
Another question I like is: "How is this *the same* as something that seems completely opposite?" For example, what I've learned about CPU architecture teaches me a lot about how the mind works and can be more productive.

I have to say I'm really proud of you Dan. You were able to figure out how the world really is. It took me a lot longer to figure out how world really is. Now, I'm never going back to being a regular, brain-dead automaton ever again.
I find most people don't question what they believe for a myriad of reasons, including fear, ego, intellectual laziness, etc.
Friedrich Neitzsche figured out that people tend to be believers, not truth seekers. People believe things because they tend to think with emotion. I can't think that way, I need to understand the truth, because if you understand the truth, you can make better decisions.
BTW, the number one person I question is myself. Questioning yourself is key to both humility and lifelong learning.

Regarding the part of discussing other people's business, like celebrities, there is an aspect of that that I do understand. People have been assigning these qualities to mythical figures and idols to tell their own stories about how the world ought to be and i do see the value in that. It's fair to try to assign motives to these people's actions and for some scandals to be scandalous, and to stir up discussion and signaling like "I would never..." or "If I were them I would..."
I'm not the type to do that a lot probably because my parents weren't the type of people to discuss that type of stuff often or watch that kinda TV but from other friends and some people who do enjoy that, I think I'm able to see the value in it.
I see what you mean though and there is too much of that , a lot of which gets out of control, and a lot of people don't seem to take this kind of information as the game that it is and the powerful stories it tells but instead pay too much attention to plain dumb shit lol and just move in mob like ways
Trying to put it in your words, I'd say something like "there are dynamics at play that are common across all stages that get amplified , or states in some stages that mirror states in other stages and it can be helpful to look at those and learn from them"

I Grew up with A fierce apetite for consuming Terence Mckennas lectures. I Believe I have listened to 95% of all his recordings that are publicly available.
Two of the most Unique and little talked about Nuggets which he brought to the world are his Novelty theory that he developed using the I ching.
Number 2 is my favorite which is his lectures about finnegans wake.

In an early scene in The Matrix, Neo is holding the book Simulcra and Simulation by Jean Baudrillard which touches on very similar concepts in this video (symbols and meaning).

Thank you for your videos, man. Your understanding on this matter and your eloquence or delivery of it is in-depth but yet unsophisticated, so I am able to attain a great deal of benefit. I invite you to read the Quran. Even though I would like for you to accept Islam, and if you do not, then you still attain much benefit and an even deeper understanding of the subject that you discuss. May Allah guide you and ease your affairs. Ameen. Thank you again, my brother!!!

Why would you want to impose your truth onto other people though? I think seeing YOUR truth as THE truth is rather shortsighted and contradicts critical thinking. I'm not hating on the religion itself and I am actually planning to read the Quran, because I think there could be a lot of knowledge in there as you said yourself, but I just don't understand the notion of taking it as the all encompassing source of truth.

Great video Dan! I find these talks very motivating. I have a few excellent Terence McKenna lectures on my channel! They are also great for expanding the mind and motivation. "Nothing lasts. Everything flows" was one of TMKs constant talking points.
