I really don't think a $700 monitor classifies as "budget." Samsung offers a similar monitor at $300. That's more of a budget option.

I just bought this monitor for $420 as an open box from Amazon Warehouse. That's definitely budget compared to the new Apple monitor for $1,600+.

I bought the M7 not so long ago and I think that one is pretty much the same as the M8 minus the camera and a cheaper panel. But at halve the cost of the M8 it's hard to justify the premium .

I mean did u buy a desk table top (74 inch long) from ikea and then then put it on top of the autonomous smartdesk core which is 53 inch long? did u glue it together or used brakets between those two, or just lay it down and the weight itself keeps it steady? thanks!

I bought the Samsung cr032 I think that’s what it was called for $199 at Costco it is a 1080p curved monitor with 75hz refresh rate and freesync I think it’s pretty good

Thank you for your video. I have a big question that I can't find the answer... When you are using the screen "stand alone" (without a PC connected), how can you plug the screen to external speakers... I can't see any jack output behind the screen...but is there a solution with micro-hdmi or anything else ?
A display port 1.4, HDMI 2.1, 3.5mm Audio jack and 144Hz refresh rate is all that I need in this at the same pricing.
Also Samsung should offer accessories to mount on the webcam slot like a light bar or 4K webcam with ring light. 😅
Until then I guess I might have to stick with 27” curved G5 Odessy.

Awesome review, THANK YOU!! But here is the big question. I am coming from a 2011 27" iMac. I no longer work from home but am in dire need of a new computer. We are fully an apple household. Do I do the Apple Studio Display or is the Samsung more than adequate, for a Mac Mini. The other option is to save my money and just do the 24" iMac. I loved the Apple display when I saw it in person, but I like that the Samsung is 32". Thoughts Please!!

I did turn my 1080p monitor into a TV. With The Amazon stick and xbox and bluray movie player looks pretty decent to me.
Cause Most monitors like mine doesn't have a smart monitor built-in so I. Had to use a fire stick for it?

Help!!! I just now have this monitor and it came with Google meets (duo upgraded to meets only now) I cannot sign in on my phone using tv sign in and it won't allow any other way. It seems the phone cannot discovere the tv. Is there another way to log into the app on the monitor. Don't want to hook my laptop. Thanks

i feel super dumb for asking but this info is literally nowhere. can i plug this with a computer tower? i game at stuff like gta, sims, hogwarts legacy, spiderman and stuff like that. im not a huge gamer but during winter i can be and i just thought this monitor would be perfect because i could save money in the meantime and still have that complete computer experience because i write a lot, i learn languages on sites, i use notion, id do my homework with it etc.
ik that the monitor alone isnt great for gaming but will a computer tower seal the deal or will the monitor stay incompatible with those games
