This is a great review! I have the Streamdeck XL and I use it for just about every piece of software. When you freak a bit on it, you can come up with so many interesting timesavers. I'll stick to my Streamdeck :)
thank you very much! I am disappointed that (as far as I have seen) Loupedeck CT limits the use of the touchscreen and dial screen to some icons... If I could use it as a custom screen to send 2D or even 3D graphics to create my own UI on those screens - then it would be worth the price. For example I want to use the button area as large numeric display to show digits while I adjust one of the dials. Or I want to show any scales and position indicators within the big round dial - to use it like a potentiometer which actually shows the level I left it on. It is expensive, then at least it could be flexible enough to prototype / build custom user interfaces for home automation or other really custom, responsive stuff, not just designing icons. And if it is too complex - then I just need access to program my own GUI to run on the CT :)
Both of these devices can use some high quality brushed aluminum big multifunction knob for volume (push/pause etc...). I'd pay an extra $50 for that
