Just the first two minutes of this video made this particular video the best LoopDeck Live review I've seen and I've been searching for information about this for two weeks. Thank you
I create interactive presentations. I use a Dell 7760 workstation laptop, two 4k monitors and a 24" display drawing tablet. I will have Photoshop, Audition, Premiere, PowerPoint, Chrome and Clip Studio Paint on my drawing tablet open all at the same time. Loupedeck has been a serious time saver. For instance, I created a clip studio profile so when I am drawing I can zoom in and out, rotate, create layers, select a pen, airbrush, pencil and change the size of each, etc with the touch of a button or turn of a nob. I made similar profiles of all of the other software that I use and I haven't even scratched the surface of all this can do. I was so happy with it that I purchased a second one for my home office setup.
Great review. I was first surprised when you were very happy with the web page scrolling with the knob, then I remembered you were using a MAC, then I laughed really hard.
Man this is the first product (for me) that you've shown that I'm running out and getting. I have been looking for something to control all my sounds individually. Now the thing is will my stream deck stay on my desk?
Hey Great Video, Sorry for Noob question, i cant work out how to simply open a document or Folder on a Mac ?? (which is a 10sec job to create on Streamdeck)
So if u were in the market between the LoupeDeck Live and the Stream Deck, which one would you choose? (This question applies to anyone besides Alex) :D
Stream deck, the API and plugins are amazing. I don't stream, but i have a stream deck XL and it makes me so much more productive with university work and controlling my smart room
TechFlow, I notice you started your video off with the Loupe Deck Live with a Mac, then you switch to a PC, I was hoping you completed the complete video in that Mac platform, this way when you set to shown how the Loup Deck Live could open up folders, I could see how you did that, but I notice when you shown you steps .. it showed ( c:\xxx )… can you tell me have you tried to open up folder on a Mac, if so, can you tell me how you did it.. And when you shown how the separate volumes controls one for Spotify, and the one for the main system, can you tell have you tried to do the same thing for RUclips, VLC, I can’t seem to locate and video’s have anything .. or anyone make that happen, and you try that one and let me know. Remember I am on a Mac, not a PC.
Meh, once you're advanced enough to be interested in this, you've figured out KB + mouse hotkeys and shortcuts well enough to not need it. Switching between two user input systems would than negate any benefit.
Unless you need to control several programs at the same time, and have shortcuts like shift-cmd-U that require two hands to press or just is very uncomfortable. You can also control sliders and knobs much easier than with your mouse. It’s of course not for everyone but if you can spend a few hundred bucks it can save you lots of time and effort. Would love to try it out to replace my several midi devices.
Looks like the Stream Deck had a baby and im alll for it!
That looks like an awesome gadget

Great video review!! Amazing product!!
You have a lot of reverb in your workspace area....consider some sound proofing.
There's a video in there too!!!
Where's the link for the photoshop file?

What key function/shortcuts are you using to drag the application or browser to different screens?
Hey Alex as this uses macOS will it also be able to use the short cut apps in the apple ecosystem for smart home products?
would have loved to get a comparison to the streamdeck that you have on your desk as well :)
Does it work with Bitfocus Companion

Did he ever put the link to the photoshop files?
Awesome bit of kit but at a price. I do love custom commands so this would work for me.
Good Video. Couldn't find the photoshop template you mentioned. Regardless, Thanks for the video.

did you figure out how to open a folder on mac?
I did not know JayTwoCents had a British son.
It looks like a really nice bit of kit however, for me personally the knobs are great but touch sensitive screens in the centre? No way!
rocket dock will do the job for free LOL
Sadly just too expensive for me :( same sadly goes for the stream deck sadly.
Personally I have zero use case for this. Seems pointless to me. My keyboard does most of what this thing does.

You totally don’t need it. Trying too hard IMO
Didn't need it. Still bought it. I like it.
