I appreciate the information, however I do have a question. Do you know any plugins for WP sites that allow affiliates to display Amazon prices onto our website in a sense that should Amazon update their prices, the plugin also updates the updated price so that they match?
Yes, Lasso does that - thesheapproach.com/lasso - and it also shows the discounted price if an item is on sale (and then updates it once the sale is over automatically), as well as AAWP - thesheapproach.com/AAWP.

Yes, just make sure to follow the rules regarding images.
Oh, great info. I have a question regarding the images. Is it allowed to have images that are not clickable with the note on which day was applicable? And add the clickable button next to the image?
You can, but the same copyright rules apply to the images. You can add your own photos, stock images of similar products etc, but you cannot add Amazon screenshots or downloaded images, even if you don't add a link to the images.

Hi! Is it possible to have a section to mu shopify store, where i post products with links?
I think that is allowed but you will need to use a marketplace connector app to import Amazon products into your Shopify store, as you can't manually upload those or the images.

Can you clarify the Amazon copyright rules? I understand not screenshotting for your website but can you do it for IG stories? And if not, can I screenshot something similar online or do they check? Also, I understand family/friends don’t count for affiliate credit, but how can you prevent them from ordering/especially if they follow your account and are a customer off your business. Thank you!
If you're screenshotting the entire sales page, that is allowed in some cases, and as Instagram stories disappear so quickly, they are unlikely to view it in time for you to get in trouble or get a copyright strike, so I do see a lot of people posting those. (Or screen recording their phone for the product page.)
For anything that's on your profile for longer - highlights, feed posts, reels etc, stick to using your own content or stock footage that is royalty free or that you paid for.
And you can't stop people you know personally from using your links - some do without even realizing it. They will usually discount those sales, but you won't get in trouble unless you are discovered actively encouraging them to do so.

What about if someone join another platform like ebay or anyother so the can use there image and the can use the link of Amazon also with another platform link...plz answer
It's a grey area. You can grab the image from that affiliate platform if they allow it, but it must be the exact product to link on Amazon as well, as Amazon doesn't want you to confuse your audience.
So you can say "buy this on Ebay / buy this on Amazon" if it's the same product, or be mindful of the language if not and say something like "buy similar product on Amazon".

when I check the link in link checker it says Fail: The link above was not tagged or was not a valid Amazon link. also did I hear you correctly that you can't share your link in private conversations?? does that mean text messages? I'm assuming DM's on IG are fine since that is how most people share it?
Did you paste in your short link or long link? Sometimes the link checker has trouble with the short link, even if it's a valid affiliate link.
And, yes, you've heard right, no affiliate links anywhere offline or private where they can't be traced back - and that includes instagram DMs. I think influencers can share their store links there which is why you might see others say "comment and I'll dm you the link", but that's not possible for affiliates (unless you send them to a public web page first where you have the links embeded).

I just registered for the Amazon Associate Program but was unable to create a "Link" from my list to share on my blog to recommend several items. Please kindly advise. Thank you in advance
Unfortunately, Amazon customer lists aren't eligible for sharing via an affiliate link - one of the few pages that aren't sharable. You are better off creating a landing page for your list with individual Amazon links on your website / a landing page.
So Ana, does that mean as beginners we cannot promote Amazon products anymore with images unless we pay for these plugins or have our images? No other free way to add images and the products?
That's right, unfortunately. You can always try to find free stock photos of those products, or similar products, or if you're an affiliate for a brand that lets you grab those images (but they also sell on Amazon), you can grab the images that way.
@@TheSheApproach Thank you Ana! Maybe a video on this in the future will be helpful! Also what is applicable to US and EU countries often is not for the other countries. For Example, Clickbank is not offered in many countries. So a video addressing beginners and those outside these countries will be very helpful especially regarding how they can make some money using pinterst and affiliate marketing.

Can I take my own photos of the product and use those on my website?
Yes!
I don't understand. In the toolbar at the top of my amazon page, I can copy a link. Can't I use that? Why is it there? I have a go daddy site. Will that work?
For the link, yes, that's what you use! It will work on Go Daddy or anywhere online. But to display images, you need to follow the steps in the tutorial - you can't download or screenshot the images from Amazon.
When I hover over text or click on it it does nothing I made sure my Amazon associates account and shopping account both do have the same email address
