+DaHappyDiction the M1128 would be an interesting vehicle, though at the moment I only have 7 rims and 8 tires that would work for that model... someone's Bricklink store was short a rim, so I have to order a couple more of those.
You should improve the supension. You can see that its not working that well. Crossing the wheels is just made possible by the strong engine. Also the vibrations while driving are caused by that or by a too flat angel of the tracks at the back.
I have a video of the older version of this mechanism here. ruclips.net/video/pf2wMyoQo14/видео.html There are instructions for the mechanism here. www.rebrickable.com/mocs/TommyStyrvoky/technic-driving-ring-shooting-mechanism-20
Looks great; agressive and impressive. But how is it everytime you start a new project? If you're using the parts from the previous build- how does it feel tearing such an unforgetable beast like this down everytime?
+ColeCoke15 Well for me I enjoy the process of building models more than than the final project. They are both important and fun components of designing models. Most people see these models and would want to keep them for a long time, the main problem with that is there's lots of important parts tied up in the model. Now I have enough Power Functions components I could build 2 basic models, with 4 functions each. Building new models gives me the option to re-build and improve older models too, and I have lots of new ideas of models that I want to build and to keep all of them would cost several thousand dollars, as each model costs upwards of $500. In this model there's at least $250 in Power Functions elements and remotes.
Hey Tommy, I've seen all your videos and now I have a little request: Could you make the Fuchs Transportcarrier? It isn't a tank but a 6x6 carrier and I love that one. So could you make it please?
Nice work. And guess how much it would cost me to order the parts of brick link? Also how soon till we get instructions? I'm a Abrams fan so I'd really like this as an model
+AustinD2C_Gamming I'm not sure maybe upwards of $500-900 in pieces, it's already $250 for the Power Functions pieces alone. I will only be making instructions for the shooting mechanism, nothing else.
There is a lot I like about this one. Looks like a proper beast. How is the improved shooting mechanism handling? Also like the video, some very nice snow action, and love the 3d animations. Especially like the animation of the shooting mechanism, people can really see how it functions now.
+Kelkschiz Well the shooting mechanism is much more reliable now with the new technic driving ring and new clutch gear. It can take a lot of torque and still be engaged with the clutch gear. This version is definitely better than the previous version and packs a bigger punch.
+SovietTenkDestroyer They're quite stable, as each one is interlinked with plates behind, the front and rearmost have clips that lock them to the adjacent skirt, this system is similar to the actual Abrams's skirts operation for maintenance and accessing the tracks and running gear.
+VALCON 117 No, I don't buy all of the bricks at once from a single store, that's nearly impossible to do on Bricklink, unless it's a really large store. I do disassemble every model to build new ones.
wow ....... i love it just like your other tanks this is a cool tank. so you arent making the maus or the m4a3e8 sherman? btw i am that dutch guy that build alego rc sherman i posted pictures on flickr but i think you already saw them. i am making a huge tank now i cant tell you wich that would mean theres no surprise. groetjes van kris (as we say in dutch)
+the sirker I'm not sure about those models, Sariel seems to be building a awesome Maus right now. my plans for that model would basically be a identical replica of that. With college there is even less time to build models, so I have to pick the models that I find most interesting and replicate them.
This might be a dumb question to ask, but how do you slow down the rotation speed of a motor? after I tried mounting my gun onto the makeshift chassis on the tank I'm currently working on, it spun out of control and basically detached. Thanks.
I use a variety of different softwares for digital building. This includes LDD, Stud.io, and Ldraw based programs for creating instructions and importing into Blender for creating the animations as seen in this video.
Instructions for the shooting mechanism available here in pdf format and .ldr . www.rebrickable.com/mocs/TommyStyrvoky/technic-driving-ring-shooting-mechanism-20
www.bricklink.com If you go to the center of the rebrickable page where it says parts list inventory, it will show you what stores have the parts for it and how much It will cost, If you buy the parts for it from several stores, it will be cheaper. I suggest buying the Power functions parts directly from www.lego.com . You can replace the rechargeable battery box with a AAA battery box, it will save you some money, and don't forget to get a IR remote, it's not listed on the parts needed for the model.
I reckon that the turret is also too tall. One thing people look over a lot is that the turret on the Abrams ISN'T symmetrical, while this model is symmetrical... a lot of designs have this flaw...
Unbelievably cool. Well done man
Very Very nice tank , just one think, the turret is too big for the rest of the tank ,but i know the firing system is big too ( and very complexe )
One more nice tank! Design is very nice!
Man, u r genius! Good job !
awesome job! just a tip, maybe make the gun a little bit longer?
Looks very nice!
Cool dude, another idea would be making the Stryker TD version. It's light, small and packs a punch.
+DaHappyDiction the M1128 would be an interesting vehicle, though at the moment I only have 7 rims and 8 tires that would work for that model... someone's Bricklink store was short a rim, so I have to order a couple more of those.
That's by far one of your best models. I'd like to see you either make the Leopard or the Challenger (which is the world's greatest tank. fact).
You should improve the supension. You can see that its not working that well. Crossing the wheels is just made possible by the strong engine. Also the vibrations while driving are caused by that or by a too flat angel of the tracks at the back.
very nice
could you make a video about the shooting mechanism? because im building a mindstorms robot and this one looks usefull
I have a video of the older version of this mechanism here. ruclips.net/video/pf2wMyoQo14/видео.html There are instructions for the mechanism here. www.rebrickable.com/mocs/TommyStyrvoky/technic-driving-ring-shooting-mechanism-20
It's unfortunate that the gun isn't sableized while on the move D':
AustinD2C Gamming I
AustinD2C Gamming That'll be impossible to do in lego
Irishbanana not really, you could get the same effect with gyroscopes
well not on this scale
amazing really good job, but i still prefere the WW2 modles
Nice work :)
nice man

+Tommy Styrvoky Understandable. I'm glad you have fun doing it mate^^
+Tommy Styrvoky can u do the leopard 2a7 please
Hey Tommy, I've seen all your videos and now I have a little request: Could you make the Fuchs Transportcarrier? It isn't a tank but a 6x6 carrier and I love that one. So could you make it please?
+Bjorn Groen I plan to work on a 6x6 M8 Greyhound.
+Tommy Styrvoky The M8 is also nice so I'm happy!
Nice work. And guess how much it would cost me to order the parts of brick link? Also how soon till we get instructions? I'm a Abrams fan so I'd really like this as an model

ok thanks
just wanted to know. i cant spend that much money since i got a new laptop over the holiday.
A longer barrel would look more aggressive

Wow that sounds great. Happy you have been able to improve it. When I have the time I think I will build it again to see it in action.
Podias subirlos tu modelo del m1a2 con " lego Digital Designer" y poner el archivo en tu pagina de you tube.
nice
I like this design but why did you make the side skirts like that? Seem really impractical and unstable.
+SovietTenkDestroyer They're quite stable, as each one is interlinked with plates behind, the front and rearmost have clips that lock them to the adjacent skirt, this system is similar to the actual Abrams's skirts operation for maintenance and accessing the tracks and running gear.
+Tommy Styrvoky I see. Personally, I would make it one huge plate.
The Leo. 2A7 pls!
Make the leopard 1 :D
how do you get all the legos to build your tanks and where do yiu buy it from?
I think he gets the parts off bricklink or just from tecknick sets
i could understand him getting the bricks from brink-link but where does he get the tecknick peice from
I get most of my technic parts from bricklink too. The only other site I use is www.legoeducation.com or lego.com for my power functions components.
oh ok thanks, but do you buy all the bricks at once or do you take apart other projects to build other lego projects?
+VALCON 117 No, I don't buy all of the bricks at once from a single store, that's nearly impossible to do on Bricklink, unless it's a really large store. I do disassemble every model to build new ones.

awesome!!

Thanks.
+Halosince151101 You need to reduce the speed, by using a smaller gear to drive a larger gear, or use a worm gear to drive the turntable.
+Tommy Styrvoky Thanks.
great design and video! what lego design software do you use?
I use a variety of different softwares for digital building. This includes LDD, Stud.io, and Ldraw based programs for creating instructions and importing into Blender for creating the animations as seen in this video.
Can you plz build the FV215b
Can you make an IS 7 Tank
Really nice Tank but to be honest the Suspension is shit xD Also Love the Shooting mechanism but its kinda hard to reload :/
Do a K2
is it possible to use a shock absorber instead of the rubber band?
Not for the mechanism that's in this vehicle, shock absorbers have too short of a displacement to give enough power to a projectile.
please can you make a sd.kfz.251
It's light bluish gray or light gray color?
light bluish gray.
Can the gun be a little longer plz
+Navy Caty The gun is the correct length for a 120mm, it looks too short because the turret is slightly large than it should be.
+Tommy Styrvoky oh that's why xD
+Tommy Styrvoky also the gun is shake but it's okay lol
T26E4 Super Pershing
Make a t-90ms or T14/15 armada
+Armata No
Why not?
+Armata maybe when there is enough reference material on the armada, i'm not sure yet about how proven that vehicle is.
hello. I think you very cool person. pleas made t95. good luck;)
+Владислав Мамченко I already have a made one a year ago. ruclips.net/video/_6EQM777Roc/видео.html
Thank you. Can you made Germany tank Hetzer?
You my favourite LEGO master. Thank you for the this video.:)
+Владислав Мамченко I already have built one with Ldraw instructions. ruclips.net/video/gHG4sc_gwJk/видео.html
+Tommy Styrvoky Ok. Can you made Mouse or Russian T-34?
What is the wheel part number?
www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=60208#T=C
l want T-90 ms-the best tsnk in world
Instructions for the shooting mechanism available here in pdf format and .ldr . www.rebrickable.com/mocs/TommyStyrvoky/technic-driving-ring-shooting-mechanism-20
Which tanks that you have instructions on have the least parts? Also, nice tank build. How long did it take you to build it?
The Universal Carrier is the smallest, with around 800 parts. It took around 2 1/2 weeks to build this model.
+SilentRecon not really, it can take up to a month to complete a model, this was built over Christmas break, and i was on vacation for part of it.
www.bricklink.com If you go to the center of the rebrickable page where it says parts list inventory, it will show you what stores have the parts for it and how much It will cost, If you buy the parts for it from several stores, it will be cheaper. +Tommy Styrvoky ah okay, thank you very much!
Армата парвет Абрамса!
Build the Tortoise
The gun is to short and the hull the s to small so it doesn't look realistic
I reckon that the turret is also too tall. One thing people look over a lot is that the turret on the Abrams ISN'T symmetrical, while this model is symmetrical... a lot of designs have this flaw...
Please, make Russian Т-34
разбери эту калымагу и сделай т 90
сделай только 90
Please
First
+Armata Is that you can say?
sure
