That''s fantastic, E-100 is not an easy tank to replicate. And I like how you used the planned upgraded turret for the E-100 rather than the Maus's turret. Great work on this! It would also be cool if you could consider designing a multi-turret like the Independent, T-35 or some of the Nuffield Assault Tank designs.
Tarix819 I’ve got a 10 meter stick 😉 The blueprint are fake and Are created with CGI, Go watch “paper panzers” by Panzer pictures on RUclips you will know it’s fake
Cat [TROLL] Lol wtf are you smoking? There are actual blueprints of the turret you can find online which were drawn by Krupp German engineers not CGI, and I watched that paper panzers video and it says nothing about the Maus II Turm turret. Hillary Doyle even researched and took notes on the turret lol go do some actual research with books and sources.
The Ratte would be an epic build! Imagine that at the at the same scale as the Maus, so the same Maus turrets could be used as secondaries as some designs show!
Your E100 is amazing, great moc, adore your work. The moc is matched by its presentation, great animations and cross sections making the techniques you used better to understand, especially for someone not so familiar with it, like myself. I have some questions though : 1. Are you maybe planning to remake some of your older tanks like Tiger P, the Ferdinand etc. in the same way like you did with the E100 ? I'm following your blog for quite a while now and it would be marvellous to see them again with instructions. Big fan of those. 2. What are you using to control the E100 remotely ? The standard lego one, or maybe some bluetooth smartphone application ? 3. Just in case I've missed it, what are the dimensions of the E100 in inches or cm ? Best regards, Chris.
I don't have plans to remake many of them, as with college I don't have much time, so many of those projects are put on hold for some time. This model uses an Sbrick for bluetooth control. My model is 1/18th scale, for the 1:1 dimensions look here. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzerkampfwagen_E-100
History lesson: The E-100 was an installment of the 'Entwicklung' (German for 'development', hence the 'E') series. The Germans only managed to produce one hull, and that hull was the PROTOTYPE. So, what happened to it? The Brits captured it, sent it to England, examined it for a while, then scrapped it. If the E-100 was ever produced, WWII would have been much different...
Rebrickable link will be available soon, I need to submit the model first, though you can still download the instructions ldd file directly through the Bricksafe link in the description
If you look on the bottom of the Rebrickable page, there will be an option for you to buy parts for the model, and it can be added to a Bricklink wanted list, and from Bricklink, you can choose where you want to get your parts from. www.rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-13061/TommyStyrvoky/rc-e-100-super-heavy-tank/#buy_parts
I don't know if the gun barrel looks a bit too thin or if World of Tanks Blitz just isn't historically accurate enough. I mean they invent many tanks themselves and people like me are wondering why they can't find anything wikipedia entries on some of these tanks so I shouldn't criticize your tank.
Yeah, actually the 15 cm gun was a prototype, but as you probably now the tank wasn't even built within the end of the war, so probably that's why you can't find it. Anyway, it's actually pretty easy to replicate it in LEGOs.
fun fact about the E100 hull that was partially built. The British army brought the hull back to england for testing and found out. the had no chance of penetrating it. A soldier had these words after the test. "We can´t penetrate the damn thing." I can´t really remember where i got that story from but i found it when i researched a bit about the E100 and just thought it was hilarious XD
TheAmir259 you have to consider the tech the britains had at the end of WWII and the tech the E100 has to go against in war thunder. Learn your stuff before making comments
Dude don't be salty, plus that's why i said War Thunder, not World of Tanks. If incase you still don't get it, just go watch PhlyDaily play it, and see what i actually meant. If you still don't get it, I'll say it then. I actually meant the thing was impenetrable (or hardly penetrable). Though of course you don't just steamroll in like nothing that is.
That would be too large for the scale, as you can see from my old one it was way too long for the scale, this made all of the other proportions of the model out of scale, as I had to compensate for the length. Also the 5 wide inverted dishes are the correct size, though they do stick out a little. ruclips.net/video/DuJe_FgZpOY/видео.html
If you mean the dishes with 6 studs in diameter....sariel had some issues with them when he build his Tiger model. They are super rare and expensive :(
I think my RC Lego Cromwell is somewhere near Tommy's and Sariel's quality. Plz Check it out and give me feedback in the comments: ruclips.net/video/6T_AhWihWK0/видео.html
Taffy Strawberry well... the original E-100 had no turret, only a partially completed hull... But yeah, it's probably more realistic to give it the Maus turret. But this turret (WG's interpretation) makes it stand out more doesn't it?
Wotplaya4 Complete bollocks, the turret Tommy has mounted on his E-100 is the Maus II Sturm which was a planned upgrade for the E-100. It wasn't a WG invention it was a historical blueprint proposal that never made it to prototype or mock up stage get your facts right mate.
Tarix819 yeah, sorry you're right. Though i don't think they ever made a full sized metal one to go on it. Only a smaller wooden version. But i basically said WG's interpreyation because Gaijin chose to use the maus turret. But yeah, i just thought initially that the Maus II turm was fictional, but after some research it wasn't, but it also never reaaally existed unlike the Maus turret.
A couple scale wooden mock ups were made, and maybe some full scale components, quoting from Hilary Doyle's Panzer Tract's 6-3, "As reported on 17 may 1944 Krupp had designed a new turret for the E 100 which weighed only 35 metric tons. This E 100 Turm had a sloped front and the 7.5cm gun was mounted above the 12.8cm gun. The only difference noted between the E 100 turm and the maus II turm (drawing Bz 3269) [Armor thicknesses]".(6-3-54) Also quoted from the section on the Maus II "On 8 april 1944, Wa Pruef 6/Pz.II Awarded Krupp contract SS 4911/0006/3040/43 to produce a 1:5 scale wooden model of a Maus II turm[...] On 15 may 1944, Wa Pruef 6 modified contract SS 4911/0006/3040/43 to add a 1:10 scale wood model of the Maus II turm[...] in accordance to Krupp drawing Bz 3250. krupp informed Wa pruef 6 that they had started work on scale models for the Maus II turm on 12 August 1944, and were using components from the full scale model for the Maus I turm which was located in Kummersdorf".(6-3-48)
There were at least 3 turrets designated for this E-100. The Maus turret, the Adler turret & the Tiger turret. The Maus turret is self explanatory, the Adler turret is this one, whilst the Tiger turret is one that looks similar to the Tiger II Henschel turret (not the Porsche one). I prefer Maus turret if not Tiger turret, but never the Adler one. It's too ugly
*sheds tear for marvelous German engineering*
Could you do the TOG II?
I have built one before ruclips.net/video/Sf_po1An6Xs/видео.html
No E100
Arctic Region in HD looks awesome
Great video, those CGI parts are so awesome!

Tarix819 that’s the fake turret you war gaming fanboy
Cat [TROLL] yep it is, but it looks imo way better on the E-100 chassis. You gotta give that, you even have it as your pf :P
And calling me a WG fanboy despite having a WOT profile picture...
Grow up stupid kid. I wouldn't touch WOT with a 10 metre stick.
Tarix819 I’ve got a 10 meter stick 😉

I like the animations where we see all the components inside ! Well done
Nice, big improvement since your old E100
OMG STOCK E100, TRY 150MM
Chill
Hi I love the model it’s really nice
The Ratte would be an epic build! Imagine that at the at the same scale as the Maus, so the same Maus turrets could be used as secondaries as some designs show!
You are master engineer man!!!
Wow that this is so cool really amazing build although the proportions aren’t 100% accurate I just looks amazing
I like how you did the exploded view.
Jeez... so beautiful....
Awesome and well edited
That looks very nice. The only disturbing thing for me is the turret, I'm not a fan of that version of the turret.
Very nice build

It's funny. I was just planning my own E100 build yesterday.
imlivingketchup You were gonna build a REAL e100??
Perfect build, but unreal small gun
I think it's the equivalent to the stock gun on the E 100 from World of Tanks Blitz if you play that game.
@@G31M1 and regular wog pc

So where can I buy the bricks for this exact look? That is if there is a Pacific place that would be easiest.

Ok thanks for both the info and fast response, btw nice build.
Could this be easily modified to be a jag. panzer e100?
What parts do u use for the r part in any of your builds
Nice 👍
Make a maus turret for it! It would look so cool

Sick i want one ps good job
Really nice
Great Improvmant
Maybe the IS-4 next?
Amazing Tank
Lol, would've been extremely better if you made it to the same size as the maus, but overall great work!
Nice Model, But the one thing distracting is, wouldn't it be better (Looks) to use the Large Dish Dark Gray than Those Steeper Dishes?
That would be too large for the scale, as you can see from my old one it was way too long for the scale, this made all of the other proportions of the model out of scale, as I had to compensate for the length. The upgraded panther....luckily never finished along with the maus
could you make the 15 cm gun for it?

You can built polish tank 7tp?
And super super and super building is very super good
So dude there isn't any suspensions at all?
Now make a working gun in that heavy and let it go in lego tank battles xD
May I know which software to do the demo at 0:21?
Blender's cycles renderer.
May I know which software did you build with? Lego LDD, 3D SRbuilder,...?
A combination of LDD, Stud.io, and Ldraw based programs.
looks like it needs more track tension
That’s pretty
how about batignolles chatillon 25t?
Can you build panther 2
How about the super heavy O-I?
Which one. The O-I Exp, O-I, O-Ni, O-Ho, Type 4 Heavy, or Type 5 Heavy?
Illumination the O-I, which is the only one that was built (well, the hull at least)
Illumination O-I Exp, O-Ni, O-Ho, Type 4 and Type 5 are WG fakes
Tarix819 not the Type 4. They built a turret for that one
UnnecessaryAmmoRack The photo of the Type 4 turret has not been proven to be real.
I love lego e100
