The suspension can be a difficult part of the model, as each vehicle usually uses a different setup. Most use torsion bars though, This page may help somewhat, but it is outdated from last year. www.mocpages.com/moc.php/383492 Though I may do a tutorial, or make a new page with updated concepts.
Can u make a fully functional controls so if u tern left the controls will move in the tank same in trit.can u also add recoil that would be very cool.plz add all the things on list it woud be really cool
This model was made for an entry for a Eurobricks contest, It only allowed for the usage of 2 IR receivers, so I had to eliminate some extra functions.
I may in the far future 4+ years from now, I lack the proper parts for making the extra wide tracks, and I have plans for some massive tanks that will be using tracks that are 6-12 studs wide.

I wouldn't say it's something to be sad about, I would consider it more fun to build the models, than to have them all sit on a shelf. I also think of it as gaining experience, so I can eventually rebuild improved versions of them. I also do my best to document the models with photography, so they can be used for future reference.
No, The IS-2 is basically a IS-1 with a larger turret and up gunned to a 122mm, I'm guessing WOT is confusing you, as the chinese version is a exported Soviet IS-2.
Hey hey I'm the chinese guy and no they didn't base the is-2 off the is-3 the based it off on the late is-1 and modified it by having better sloping on the driver hatch and a better gun

I currently have 200 treads, for this model, I think it would be around 60-80 per side.

It would probably be cheaper to just get the treads from Bricklink, though the option you suggested would work.

Martin Van Den Hoek no, that's just a 3D model of the turret for reference. It will be made out of sloped bricks, and maybe have a shooting mechanism.
