    Thanks so much for making this great video documentary. I had absolutely no idea that Sweden was so big into 50s and 60s American cars or the the ragga culture and so many young kids that are obviously Way into working on and driving them. I've owned quite a few old 60s Buicks, Skylark and GS style, and a few Chevy impalas, been going to car shows for decades and never seen so much fun being had at night Big car shows here in the US are So uptight and way too strict, any kind of open container anywhere in a vehicle or on the sidewalk and your getting hassled big time by the cops, tickets, fines, those lucky Swedish kids are breaking like 9 different laws in this nation, really puts so many things into perspective on how much we're all so pussified here now, You can't have any where near that much fun here in NY at a car show without getting arrested,even Big shows are like funerals compared to this documentary, it's really 👌 good 👍

      Thank you very much for your feedback. We are surprised ourselves that Sweden is so popular in the US car scene. What is even more surprising is the American perspective, because we would not have thought that there would be such massive differences in the way the events are run. I would recommend experiencing the car meetings in Sweden live, because it's much better on site than you think.

    • @Necronomous
      @Necronomous Год назад +1

      @@KURBELMOTION You are right. But in Sweden they now got their own theme on a lowrider. A so called Pilsnerhäck (Beerass in english) have their airride system nowdays to lower and highthen the car. More and more of these are seen being made. But I don't like Beerasses tho, I mean. I started in the raggarculture when I was 17, when I got my driverslicense I drove around mom and dad for over 10 years in their Dodge Royal -59. Wasn't until the early end, like 8-9 years that the explosion of Beerasses came. Though without airridesystem on them. It was the generation after me that inprinted airridesystems in their cars and such. Often these youngsters, or what I shall call them are also the ones giving the raggarculture a bad name. Beerasses are a subculture from the real raggarculture.
      The owners often had a Volvo 740 or Volvo 240 that they missused and made it look like junk, later on they went together and bought an american car. These are called Volvoraggare. Trust me, I have walked around these cars and asked their owners what type of V8 and such, they don't know shit of anything about the car. Later on, they put a Mercedes Benz diesel in it, or a D24 Volvo Diesel in it even a BMW diesel engine, and suddenly they can everything about the engine and the car. So yeah, thats where we are today. But yeah, time changes, and if they don't change their missbehavior around carmeetings. Every carmeeting will die in Sweden. Not just the shit about not selling any fuel for gasoline/diesel engines.
      Somewhere in the future, this culture will die. Either from the ones that missbehave or the goverment that wanna see that all cars goes over to electric, even the old fashion V8 ones.
      But yeah, I have been around raggare when these had diapers on. So I have seen how the evolusion came to be. Sure, not all are missbehaving and destroys everywhere, but that is why every parkinglot closes because of their behavior. Then they are yelling and crying over that they have no where to park and party. Because they destroyed it, not only with loud music, but leaving a parkinglot that looks like 3rd world of war zone.
