In this week's video we take a look at Matt from High Peak Autos' own £500 Jeep Cherokee that is ultimately destined for the Scrapheap. But before it's crushed into a drink's can, the lads need to get it ready for it's first and last off-roading day.

I had a manual 2.5 i called it the beast,when it was in 2 wheel drive you could get the rear wheels spinning easily

A successful off road transformotion. For a diesel it sounds great. It'd a shame its not roadworthy but I think going on an offload trip is a great sendoff
It does sound good tbh! Runs really well! Yeah best thing for it tbh, engine and box are good but the body/chassis is done for

You see these all the time here in the US, although they're called the Liberty here. But the diesels are insanely rare. Diesel cars just don't sell here.
Do you wanna import this one? Ha ha its a cherokee sport here but there's nothing sporty about it ha ha I like the good old cherokee like off matts off road recovery (the banana)
Uk fuel prices have always made more economical variants of cars popular over here!
Diesels were popular here for a long time because of the better fuel economy and the government promoting diesels as the better fuel. Only recently they've declined in popularity because funnily enough the government are now ostracizing diesels by charging them to drive into the cities 😂😂so they promoted them and now they're running back on their own words
@81adamlittle yeah the fuel prices over here have always been a rip off! Id love to have some of the big engined cars yous have over there! It makes drag racing so much more easy ha ha and @afrazhussain1760 they're doing the same over here, we have a ulez charge to get in city centres, electric cars are free....its the older diesels they want off the road now, I think everyone is realising they're not as environmentally friendly as they first thought ha ha
Lol no, I saw Matt's video! Also a car has to be 25 years or older to be eligible for US import. There are special exceptions but a rotten Cherokee wouldn't qualify!@@TransformotionVR

You guys are funny. If I can understand ten words out the whole show. It's good.. And that's only the beeeps. 😂. You need a subtitle on the go..Them VM engines are pretty tuff. See how this thing holds up. Yep that's one ugly car. But if it works id drive it.. Might need some bags of cement in the back. It couldn't get up the ramp. 🤣🦬. Are you the famous mechanic that Matt talks about...😂. Have a good one..

@@TransformotionVR Well if it wasn't for jeep descendents there would be no Landover.. the new jeeps got 600 HP. Lol. He could take it down Spain. There is clubs that go off roading on the weekend. Lada niva. Suzuki. That might work..
I like jeeps on the whole but just not this cherokee sport, the trackhawks are brilliant, look at the one cleetus mcfarland is giving away!
