I did my van sliding door a while back, watched a bunch of videos but this is really clear and simple, highly recommended for anyone doing the same job. The seal still doesn’t look strong enough, I was bricking it every time I drove over a bump for the first few days😂. Doing the other side soon, picked up some good tips, thanks gents.

Wow. Andy and Liam, that is an amazing job. It looks like those windows were fitted from new. Are the windows custom made or are they mass produced according to the make of van?
I swear i cut 2 squares in my Ford Escort 55 van roof then i glued and screwed 2x perspect plates in the roof ,didnt leak but the van wobbled at 60mph I took all the strenght out off the body .
@@TransformotionVR yeh i was young drilled holes around corn flake box then hack saw blades me on roof my mate inside up down up down , its done fit perspex all done moon roof .
We've done plenty in the past and not 1 has gone rusty, and we did use a clear primer but don't know what happened to the footage, im sure I've got it in my hand when I'm cleaning the window down with the alcohol wipe

Tbh these were supplied with the van by the customer, I think you can get them from Cheshire vehicle windows but don't quote me on that ha ha 😉

Yeah we'd like to do that eventually, we need to find a decent van and look at conversion kits but it gets expensive
Do you not paint the cut edges?😳 it will rust in 12months💩. Also not using a primer for the adhesive?
