- Thursday, announcement to impact Social Security, SSDI, SSI, VA benefits. We are discussing the details of an announcement we will be getting on Thursday morning and how this will impact checks administered by Social Security going forward. This is something we certainly want to continue watching as these benefit checks are directly impacted by the announcement. Each month, we get some economic data that is released and this one economic data announcement as represented by the CPI, consumer price index shows the inflation and directly impact Social Security checks. However, we are clarifying how this announcement does not necessarily directly impact, the rather it gives us a better reading on what inflation is doing and what we can foresee during the three months that actually matter when it comes to increasing Social Security Checks as it relates to the Social Security annual cost-of-living adjustment otherwise known as Social Security COLA increase. This is figured by using the third-quarter inflation data over the previous years third-quarter inflation data and that is the cost of living adjustment for the following year. My grandson is on ssi he has DMD I am on ssa the poor kid is short this mouth he was told his health insurance will not pay for his insure, which he needs to take for his disease. So I will help him out this month and maybe next month. His mom works full time and is doing the best she can with inflation. Our government should be ashamed of themselves they help other countries will billions but can't help the American who need it.
