🏎️In 2004 the USCC observed a nearly identical brake setup on an SW20 MR2 with a 60-0 stopping distance of 99.23 feet! This obviously was on tires of the available technology of that era too. The late revision MR2 Turbo braking system is extremely impressive when paired with upgraded pads, lines, and tires alone given its weight just under 2800lbs.

I believe that Sarah would be quite capable of learning how to tune a car. We all know she’s a giant goofball with a highly intelligent brain.❤❤❤
Turn that around and it still works: highly intelligent goofball with a giant brain. 🧠😁
The actual issue is, I don’t have the time running this entire operation by myself on top of making these videos to learn/master a new skill.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
@@SarahnTuned if you dont take the time you will never have the time .... time learning a new skill saves you time in end ... just sayin lol...
@@SarahnTunedTeam up?
Sarah appreciation button.
Warms my heart seeing the classic MR2 in such awesome condition and being showered with cool parts. A real credit to you Sarah.
Sarah, I'm afraid you have colonized my brain (see 8:17) A few days ago I was fiddling about with a _very_ small part inside a PC that I had built and found myself whispering "careful-ing, careful-ing..." 😂
From what Mr Dos was when Sarah first adopted the MR2 to now it is, and continues to be, an impressive and inspiring journey.
"I hate it when you realize that you have reached the peak of your mental capacity and then your smart enough to know how dumb you are." TRUE wisdom from Sarah.
The wise know that they don't know.
Socrates N Tuned!
😂😂 I can relate
I can relate 😔
This happens to the most rubber ball sock pill bottle of people all the time......
And when it does happen I usually just put a book in the refrigerator.
The sequence under the steering wheel made my day! ☺
I was laughing so loudly during that part.
I once tried to replace the master cylinder (clutch, brake? I forget) on a 1977 Toyota Camry, and after spending a couple of hours with my head almost as far up my dash as Sarah, I came to the conclusion that every Toyota dealership has a trained Capuchin monkey specifically for that job. (Should be easy! Just a few bolts holding it in,,,from the inside.)
I thought we were going to get a joke about it looking like the start of a "stuck" video on a different website
Whenever you do a video on Mr. Dos it is a nostalgic experience of the early days in your home garage (I highly recommend newer subscribers check out the MR2 playlist to see the transformation). Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍
There is absolutely nothing that Sarah cannot do, you're amazing!
Breathe in space without an Extravehicular Mobility Unit
how about fixing Biden?
DOS! You can never have two much. ❤😁
The MR2 is a classic example of an older model looking better than all the newer iterations that came after
I don’t know about that. I personally prefer the MR2 spyder looks.
I miss mine n my dads matching red 92 sw20s
I am a fan of the looks of a gr86 and supra.
The tentative 26 model looks to be amazing so far
I see what you did there!
Welcome to another episode of Sarah cleans something.
But… that's *every* episode, lol! 😂
Remembering Sarah starting work on MrDos in a small garage brings great memories. How far you’ve come. 🥰
Watching a new Sarah video is the best way to start te day.
I just love your commentary, educational but still really fun.
Extra respect for all that under the dashboard work!!!
'pubic hair braiding kit' -
And I can almost guarantee that it's not a 15/16" but more likely a 24mm brake booster.
My favourite RUclipsr by far!
It will have 15/16" cast into it one the front left, next to the Aisin logo. Brakes and clutch hydraulic bore sizes are one place in the automotive world where you'll still see imperial sizing even today.
That's why we come here; quality pulled porque !
This is the car that I started following your channel on was this MR2. This is one of the nicest if not the nicest MRI I have ever seen. Kudos for the hard work and time you have put in to get it looking this amazing. I have a 91 MR two that I wish was a fourth as nice as the one you have. Great video and cannot wait to see how the Celica turns out. ✌️
Perfect combination of beauty and brains.
That brake line looked like the old "Pipes Screen Saver" on Windows XP!!
Your suggestions for videos to watch are never the second suggestions. I was looking forward to the coloring book.
And I can use a pubic hair braiding kit.
Thanks for all the Sarahisms. So entertaining and informative, every freaking time!
Snow - Informer & Daft Punk - Technologic, well played Sarah.
Amazingly serendipitous. Doing a brake job on my Toyota now AND since taking over the maintenance on the car, have found multiple destroyed parts - like the bleed screw sheared off on the R rear cylinder and finding both R & L side shoes were NOT even worn - I've been driving around w/o rear brakes for ~20k-miles!! Sarah doesn't trust anyone to tune her car - I do not blame her at all - I could write paragraphs of what I've found and fixed. I ❤ this channel b/c I learn so much in tips & tricks and have the same attention to detail mind set. Thanks for being here with these amazing vids Sarah, you rock!
A great way to relax after a long day on the road.......is to watch you tinker and babble away :)
Thanks for being the way you are - Awsome!
Whoaaa... glitter nails! The MR2 was such a cool design, so few left and so glad yours is 🔥🔥🔥

Fire Department called to extricate lady from footwell...
I love your attention to detail. It's a nice change of pace from the "throw something together and do a burnout" mentality.
Lots of people will scoff and say, "that ain't no Toyota...' Just say to them, "MR2!"
6:45 Bless you. Had to be said.
I like watching your videos. Not only are you knowledgeable but entertaining at the same time. Keep up the quality work.
Thank a bunch Sarah 🙏 ❤
I can’t be the only one who lost focus a little bit when Sarah was working on the MR2 with the jeans shorts… lol😂
I'm pretty sure mine improved... 😉
I always get lost looking at her. 😊
If you didn't know, sarah used to have a stick shift. 😂
Under-dash sequence absolutely priceless 😍❤️😎! Still chuckling two hours later 🤪🤪😅😂. Thank you, Sarah! Thank you Thank you Thank you. I love you ❤️💕😘!
Dearly missed Mr Dos
Great to see the upgraded brakes. Awesome shirts, the Merch Goddess is doing a fantastic job.
Thanks
I can literally feel your pain laying under the dash working on things. I usually pull the seats, when possible, even though it seems that EVERY car we own has studs for the front seat mounts. So you're invariably laying flat on your back with a stud stabbing you to death!
And yes, a nice job bending tubing is a work of art, and incredibly satisfying to do!
I love your style and sense of humor you are so unique...
I fucking love these builds!
Your seriously gonna powder coat that little bracket? 😂
You really are a perfectionist lol. Great job girl. ❤
Does a bear shit in its hat?
@@SarahnTunedonly if its name is Foy.
I was not expecting a Snow song snippet today 😄
Hope you can find a tuner to finish mapping out Mr Dos. It would be nice to see him get out and stretch his legs. Maybe you can do a track day video with him. I know you would enjoy the break.
"Head wedged under the dashboard" - my kind of woman! ❤
Thanks!
Those wheels are some of the lightest ever made. Very nice
I miss the tuning days of mid-90s cars, they were literally the best.
"Smart enough to know how dumb you are." Awesome line Sarah. Every human on Earth should strive to get to that point for the sake of humility. Love the channel.
Just the very greatest 🙂♥️
🏁
Much awaited, much appreciated looking forward to excellent work as always from you.
Sarah, I know you’re not planning to stay there very long, but you should install a mini split in there for cooling. For about five grand you could cool the place, and it would be better for whoever comes in there next also. And if you’re not the owner, convince whoever you’re leasing it from to put one in. I put one in my garage in Texas & whew it’s a lifesaver.
I was gonna say the same thing! That’s exactly what I did in my shop here in Oregon too, now it’s nice & cool in the summer and warm & cozy in the winter. If I had an extra $5k just lying around, I would totally offer to buy Sarah a mini split!! 😁
That expensive?
I LOVE that you put those brake stats in this video. I'll never need them but it is such a great touch for those that will.
Top job!
Thank you for being the best automotive woman on the internet, love the vids 4 many years, you reall are special
I love it when a plan comes together.
Helloing from Germany!
Bang on the bottom, robot snacks fall out ... nice.
Surprised banging on the underside didn’t produce a 10mm socket.
I lose 12s not 10s
@@SarahnTuned It's always the socket used most! Doesn't matter if it's SAE or metric, the one you want is GONE! 😁
I used to think that you're crazy cleaning everything, but now every moment of it is delightful.
Your under-dash contortions are impressive. I know I have a really hard time doing the same in my MGB. My 70- something body just isn't as flexible as it once was!
Her attention to detail is unrivaled.
you did a great job - Please hydrate.
Summer Olympics Dashboard Diving team leader.
This will sound kind of weird but maybe @sarahntuned will understand, but your OCD makes every video better and way more relatable! Thank you!!
so funny - any car enthusiast has likely been in that exact under dash predicament more than once. hahaha
Sarah it is so nice to see some take the time to do it right and be adamant about the project being done correctly. You doing a great job on those projects, you would do really well in an aircraft restoration gig. Keep up the great work.
I really appreciate all the effort you put into audio, like the fun and funky sound effects and background music. It really adds to the experience.
It's kinda crazy how much your MR2 sounds like my Eclipse GSX.
The 4G63 in those use a twin scroll also? Yeah, the newer manifold in head 4 cylinder turbo engines just don't have that bass to them anymore.
The organic spray coating of the break line is the trademark of Sarah’s lack of filter. Honest editing rocks!
Best you tube automotive channel. Is yours.😊
A tool company, detail product and tool company, or ball hair pomade company would be truly lucky to sponsor your adventures.
Nice to see something positive on a bad day.
Sarah, with the intent of a compliment. Your unintended humour is a throwback to Charlie Chapman with sound.
You have built the Ultimate MR2!
just finished binge watching the Mr Dos series. So happy we get anotherMR2 video
Thank you, Sarah. You bring light into dark places, and I always feel better after watching your videos.
I was really hoping for the link to COLORING BOOK FOR PIGEONS😂
Unexpected Jeremy Clarkson reference.
It's such a pleasure to watch you working on car. I admire your attention to small details in every respect. Big fan from Bangkok, Thailand.
i like your cutesy tech terms you use to describe things. plus might ad you have a great sense of of style well also being quite humorous. keep up the awesome content coming. 🚗🚗🚲🚗🚗
Lying on my back working under the dash is my least favorite part of working on cars. It's the worst.
I can't extract myself anymore!
One positive is I can usually get my back to crack while I'm under the dash, whether I want to or not.
They make a creeper just for this. It’s a game changer.
Sarah even found the time to paint her nails with silver sparklers .. stuff, metallic 😮
I don’t paint my nails.
Wow! This is the 121st Mr. Dos video 🤯 and there's more to come👏👏👏. You are amazing. Thanks for such great auto schtuff.
Big respect for you with no ads from ball crème or any companies!
Yeah.. but it makes for being a paycheck to paycheck RUclipsr with a reach larger than some TV networks lol
6:43 gesundheit
Love waking up to Sarah. REALLY love waking up to Señor Dos.
Oh and darlin', Texas is brisket country😉
Out of all the cars I've ever owned, my MR2 was my most favorite one ever!! hope to own one again one day!!
Beaut MR2👍👍
11:04 Boy, that brings back memories. It's almost like the "precision tuning" method we used when I was a wee tiny rascal to clear up the picture on our console TV.
*WHACK!!!* 💥😄
I love Sarah’s opening and I’m always, hello gorgeous lady with those big ass eyes, drop dead legs and a bit of a mad genius when it comes to restoring cars. lol 😂
Love your sense of humor 😂😂❤️🌹
I think you should do sponsored videos. Your transitions would be HILARIOUS. Imagine all the ball jokes.
6:11 😂😂😂 Snake on a flip Phone
I am glad you explained the undercarriage panel as I bought one for my NA & was stumped trying to install it
You have the best sense of humor!
Your period scene breaks and video inset frames (?) to match the various cars' eras are fantastic. Such a great little addition over the past year!
@Sarah, your cars are so clean! And this MR2 - I can watch it for hours! It was my dream car when I was in high school/college… pure 🔥
I can't get over how sick Mr. Dos looks with those white rims!
owning a 94 mr2 with a 2gr... I'm grateful I got a 94!!! didn't realize that there were so many minor changes
I wanted a Mr 2 Turbo when they were brand new, but I had a baby instead :(
I need to make a plan to wake up one day with someone like this rummaging around in the shed and the carport.
You always have magical powers when it comes to finding parts and information, that could be a video in itself, I was wondering OEM Plus that’s a Sarah -Isum
Sarah, I'm in Houston and just got power and "some internet" back. Thanks for the laughs and knowledge.
