You underestimate how much we would enjoy watching you have *fun* in these cars. After 20 videos building a car, you could give us 1 of a trip somewhere.
Yes, I have done these in the past, but I'm sure that you will provide some great tips. As many of us are constantly messing with our car's suspension and steering, it's impossible (and expensive) to take it to an alignment shop after every repair.
Your attention to detail and desire for perfection are impressive. At this level I think it's unique on this planet and that alone makes you a very important and precious person, far more so than any car.. It's interesting to see how an old-fashioned rope alignment works.
What about doing the string methodology and then take it to a shop with an alignment rack to see the difference. THEN take it on a road trip with a purpose, like going to be a spectator at Pikes Peak or the Baja 1000 or a MR2 car meet?
It takes a real dedication and love of JDM to keep going, we love you and your channel , but please make sure little time for yourself, we will always tune in.
Awesome work, Sarah. The quality of your videos is matched by the quality of your work in the videos. You are a cool.person. Take care of yourself. Stay Sarah.
Wow the 91 MR2 fan circuit works exactly the same as the 2013+ BRZ fan circuit. Took me a while to figure out what the heck was going on when I first looked at the wiring diagram. The way I rigged the fans on the BRZ was to connect one wire to both of the necessary relays so whenever the ECU said fans on both fans would kick on high. Not a perfect solution, but good for temporary at least when rotary need coolness. Similar to what you did really. Them brushless fans are nice!
Your editing is getting better and better! Brushless motors are way different animals from traditional DC motors. They are actually AC motors, with the AC supplied by a dedicated controller. Most model airplanes are now equipped with brushless motors, & provide a huge leap in performance & efficiency over old DC motors.
Sarah I appreciate you think I'm smart enough to understand what wiring issue you were having and I also appreciate there are way smarter people watching that know what you were talking about.
Always enjoy a bit of Mr Dos. Can't believe it started out as a "flip it quick" project back in the day. It's quite incredible what you've done to it. Looking forward to seeing you enjoy driving it when you've finished everything. I agree with a lot of people, we'd would enjoy watching you enjoy these cars as much as we enjoy seeing you work on them.
Ahh… Great to see an old friend in Mr. Dos. As always, when you take a deep dive into the wiring world my brain cannot keep up, yet I’m still entertained. 🤯 Love the green trim on those floating lug nuts… subtle but classy. Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍
Hi Sarah, your channel and career path are very inspiring....I truly enjoy your personality and the killer import car content....Ignore the haters...you are Amazing! Thank you- Sean🚗🚙🏎
That's okay, Sarah, we have 3 project cars in the shop that have been worked on for years, one of them, decades, and have moved maybe 1000 yards total. Projects take time, and while driving them. is cool, you can't work on them when they're going down the road. And yes, string alignment, please!!
Hi, I own a Toyota Mr2! My little girl has always been pampered and kept in the garage, 0 rust, perfect interior and super bodywork, a real jewel of the age of 30! Congrats on your Toyota!
I had voted Quattro. Mr Dos content is satisfying. The car is amazing, and goes back a long way… for those of us supporting you through the years. Love the lug, cap, and color match to the seats, with the brakes. Maybe one day soon you can take us for a road trip review of Dos. ❤
Whoo boy. You touched on the two things that are the MOST irritating on my 91 MR2 after ATS upgrades - cooling fans always on max when the key is on (and being told it is probably best if I leave it this way) - and boost gauges (dash and aftermarket) do not read correctly. Made my head spin as you were walking thru the cooling circuits, thus shedding some light on why the decision was made by the engine builders to just set the cooling fans to max on when the key is on - no temp circuits or AC indicators in the loop. Max cooling, all the time...and very very noisy.
Sarah - now you must finish these project cars and then spend a month making videos of you cruising down the Strip in Vegas or something, showing them off. That will be fun and very entertaining! We want you to have fun OUTSIDE of work too! LOL
The YT algorithm can be brutal, especially if you depend on the income. But if the pressure to keep producing content breaks you down, it's time to take a break from building and just have fun. And from past experience, you just having fun makes for great content too.
Definitely would like to see videos of you taking your cars out and engaging with the car community more. Car shows, track days, visits to unique shops like you did for your bronco wheels.
I would love to see you do a string alignment. I haven't had to do that since my Subaru kept blowing out tirerods and ball joints. Driving it like a rally car didn't help 😅
It’s the details The little details that keep the viewer coming back for more. Seven year, mostly solo build W video to prove of not sponsored parts. This is un heard of. Girl You Rock!
You know you could go take a vacation come back and we’d be right here waiting. We appreciate it you your hard work or else we wouldn’t be here. I’ve been watching I think since the pandemic or when you were in your home garage.
Hey Sarah, love your content! Can you please do a deeper explanation on what the fan problem was? I'm really curious, as I'm trying to learn more about electrical right now and I didn't follow what was going on. Thanks!
This is so timely! I want to do a brushless fan in front of my radiator and condenser to assist the stock dual-speed fan behind them on my 2005 MINI Cooper. I live in Phoenix and my AC is generally able to keep up (just replaced the compressor and condenser a month ago), but it's not as cool as I'd like it to be at idle and I think (think) the added flow from a helper fan will fix this. I also recently upgraded to a 250 amp alternator from the stock 130 amp unit, which was already struggling to keep up, so I have the pow-ah! Edit: Holy frig those Steele motors are expensive! 😳
I have really liked seeing the mr2 recently. I would love to see you use some of these cars, maybe a drive up to the mountains. I don't want vlogs to the Starbucks, but a road trip would be great.
Yes of course I'd like to see a string alignment! Old school, very old school actually! But nevertheless interesting to watch, plus it could be educational also! So yes, please show us a string alignment! If you are still unsure about that, you can always bring it to a shop and let them align the MR2! Oh yeah, I am totally on board with that!
Sarah, please for the love of all we hold dear, drive the MR2 like it was meant to be driven and take us along with you to enjoy the bliss that will surely be achieved.
That MR2 body style is my favorite. I have always wanted one. I'm just too lazy to fix one up when i can zip around in my new 32k$ base GTI. I agree with other comments that we'd enjoy seeing you enjoy an mr2 road trip. Pacific NW had some epic roads and views
If not able to raise temperature of engine inside garage, move car to raised exterior door. It seems the outdoor temp in Tucson is always 200 degrees plus than inside. Thanks for the great video......RF
I didn’t realise modern cars use PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to convert digital signals to analog. I’m familiar with it from music synthesizers. Learn something new every day. G’Day from Australia.
You underestimate how much we would enjoy watching you have *fun* in these cars.
After 20 videos building a car, you could give us 1 of a trip somewhere.
I just want to see Mr Dose blitz up some canyons :)
TRUE THAT, BROTHER!!
Better yet, take us all for a road trip!
Agree 100%
true :)
We care about your life... Especially your sanity! Please take care of yourself 💜
Yes! Sarah needs to devote more of her time to having fun. Fun is essential for a healthy and happy life. All work and no play makes for a sad life.
@douglasboyle6544 - agreed - please take care of yourself, the same words from Young Charlie, and here eat this food.
Yes exactly! I support this comment
Absolutely yes, please do a string alignment video! That would be so cool!
I've always wanted to learn this but never had a reason to do it meself
Yes, I have done these in the past, but I'm sure that you will provide some great tips. As many of us are constantly messing with our car's suspension and steering, it's impossible (and expensive) to take it to an alignment shop after every repair.
Oh wow! You're talking about me! I'm a person out in the world looking at internet videos about cars! How relatable!
….and I love scratch & sniff soup menus too! 😅
I’m not alone anymore! Hello brothers and sisters!
Your attention to detail and desire for perfection are impressive. At this level I think it's unique on this planet and that alone makes you a very important and precious person, far more so than any car.. It's interesting to see how an old-fashioned rope alignment works.
As often as you drive the MR2 Sarah you should definitely give it a alignment with the string theory……😂😂😂 ❤
What about doing the string methodology and then take it to a shop with an alignment rack to see the difference. THEN take it on a road trip with a purpose, like going to be a spectator at Pikes Peak or the Baja 1000 or a MR2 car meet?
Yes! String theory it!
Yes some super string theory for sure. 88 mph??? you haven't seen nuthin yet.. Bring on the DOS!
Wow that engine start up sound gave me goosebumps
Just the greatest channel and content creator who has amazing timing! 🙂♥️ much respect ✊
Jeez Louise, I clicked off whistling diesel destroy a Mustang . My anxiety level was high and immediately clicked on your video. I'm stable again.
I enjoy his “durability” tests, except for the one on the 80’s Hilux, they’re worth saving. New cars are fair game though!
@@SarahnTuned .. I'll take the Oragami car video before destruction any day.
@@SarahnTuned LOL I agree!
If I still have your ear Sarah. Slow down your schedule a bit maybe a vlog or 2 : )
MR2 is back!❤❤❤❤❤❤
@Jay-sb2xs - agreed - Mr. DOS !
@@mrwest5552 yeah!
Sarah’s attention to detail is phenomenal.

Seriously one of the best channels on RUclips. Thank you Sarah for all that you do and sharing it with the world. You are awesome.
First! Good work as always, Sarah. The truth is out there! We care, Sarah. Please don’t burn yourself out.

Yeah, I actually might make a more permanent jumper and keep it as is if this works well.
Are the esc's built into the motors?
Yes to string alignment!
Your editing is getting better and better! Brushless motors are way different animals from traditional DC motors. They are actually AC motors, with the AC supplied by a dedicated controller. Most model airplanes are now equipped with brushless motors, & provide a huge leap in performance & efficiency over old DC motors.
Not just RC planes. Almost all RC cars run brushless for close to a decade now.
DC motors also have a lot of advantages, including speed control with a simple rheostat instead of VFD.
@ErebosGR also power tools use brushless moters.
Sarah I appreciate you think I'm smart enough to understand what wiring issue you were having and I also appreciate there are way smarter people watching that know what you were talking about.
Sooo Nice you were able to source this Locally 💃 Señor Dos Más ❗🕺
We'd definitely like to see vlogs from road trips in the cool cars you build.
Would love to see a string alignment, then take it in for a computerized one to see how closely you nailed it 😊
I was thinking the exact same thing!
Actually yes
Always enjoy a bit of Mr Dos. Can't believe it started out as a "flip it quick" project back in the day. It's quite incredible what you've done to it.

Yes, yes you do. 😹

Like seeing the MR2 getting all buttoned up. 👍👍
Thank you for putting our center caps on now. The wheels look complete. I hope you finish this car.
Project cars are never really finished.

"And introducing a special appearance from Stan and Heidi from "South Park". Clean up on aisle 3!" How cool is that! Great machining on the Mr. Dos.

Like the MCM guys do, while everyone loves builds, going on a cruise/trip with said builds are great, I'm sure people would watch.
If I had a team of people to help out, I probably could.
String (sewing cotton) and micrometer worked better than the local shop ❤
$D.os for Mr Dos and Sarah cus I appreciate these videos. Putting my money where my mouth is.
I like that original look it is worth To keep that way 😊
Love the Upgrayedd reference

Wouldn't mind seeing how a string alignment works. I was only tangentially aware such a thing was possible (though it does make sense in hindsight). 👍

Cool mod...those brushless fans should quiet down a little with use. mine did....great haircut btw...very flattering! 😎
Would love to see an old fashioned alignment on mister Dos. And damnit!! Go out and have some fun! 😂❤
