@@etrs yeah but a suppressed pistol shouldn't be silent, it should just have less noise range. I know this is not a simulator but it could still be better.
My only problems with Blood Money are the clunky controls and the insufferably inconsistent AI, as well as the walking animations for some of the female character models (think of the Smiling Man from the "2AM" short film, but imagine that he had just singlehandedly drunk three gallons of 190 proof alcohol in one sitting without dying). With Absolution, my only complaints are that 47's face looks like that of an enraged bulldog in the cutscenes, and the model for his signature suit's coat is absolutely hideous. Hitman 2, on the other hand, has good controls and a character model for 47 that both has a face that just about looks like a normal human's and wears a decent-looking suit (though the textures for the signature suit aren't nearly as good as Hitman 2016's, which can still be found in the Blood Money, Absolution, and Winter suits). I do wish that the World of Assassination trilogy featured dual Silverballers, though.
@@jonnybirchyboy1560 Really? To me, some of the maps in Blood Money and earlier games just seem empty, lifeless, and bland compared to the ones in the recent games. Also, there's so much more variety in terms of player choice and creativity in the World of Assassination trilogy. I mean, if all you do is play the mission stories, then yes, the games might be a bit boring, but there is so much else you can do aside from those. However, I do agree that Absolution's mission design was dull, not to mention painfully linear for a Hitman game.
@@Darth_Moraband Which maps are empty and bland? Blood Money and earlier games seemed to have so much more charm and character. I played Hitman 2016 and enjoyed it for the first few levels, until I realized I could complete each mission by standing in a corner and shooting the target in the head with a silenced pistol each time. In Blood Money there were tons of story details and areas to go around
@@jonnybirchyboy1560 To name a few from Blood Money? Well there's "A Vintage Year" where everything in the house except for a desk and some plants is colored the same dull shade of brown or gray, the party is lifeless, and most of the npcs I encounter are just guards silently wandering the house. There's "Death On the Mississippi", which just has a dull setting and premise overall. Then there's "Flatline" and its large, open, empty courtyards and maze-like hallways. As for gameplay, how is being able to shoot the target from a corner if you choose to a problem? In Blood Money, I can run in, take a guard's weapon, and just go guns blazing with little effort. I can also do that in Absolution and the trilogy. And yet I can also take the time to learn the level design and find fun, interesting ways to take out the targets in all five of these games. I'm not sure what your point is with that last sentence. Sure, Absolution doesn't have the most interesting maps to explore, but it has plenty of story details that you can find or overhear. And the new trilogy? There are plenty of areas to explore, and countless story details to discover or overhear (the Stuyvesants being mentioned by npcs all the way back in the training mission; npcs in Sapienza mentioning Abiatti long before the mission "Landslide" was released; mansion staff talking about Caruso's mother; Yamazaki talking about the herald who was murdered by Grey in the Sapienza cutscene; the militia members talking about the farm's history; a news report referencing the Himmelstein mission; Agent Smith's appearances; Reynard mentioning that Grey dislikes collateral damage; Robert Knox hiring someone to kill Sierra's opponent in the race; the Delgado family; the whole situation with Vetrova, Bradley, and Williams on Haven Island; ICA handlers in Chongqing mentioning the "disaster" in Berlin; etcetera). The games are all great. They have flaws, but they are still fun, and they all have fascinating stories and characters. I just prefer the new ones.
If u think blood money's AI is inconsistent then u should play hitman 2 silent assassin (it came out in 2002) in this game guards shoot u if u get too closer to them
the NPCs from hitman 2016 onwards are from the air because most of the time you go through them as ghosts, also the textures of the clothes are poorly programmed.
Hitman Absolution could have been good, it ticked so many marks as a good game but failed as a Hitman game. It was way too linear in approach with its map making it generic. While New and Blood Money thrives as a sandbox, Giving hitman game the identity it is. Hitman is about allowing the player to break the game and have multiple ways to execute the Hits on their own terms while making it challenging with NPCs and Level design. Unfortunately Absolution, though offering that in some levels, were mostly very restrictive and linear.
The current hitman looks less menacing, skinny and long legs , Absolution was a perfect next gen upgrade to blood money, and I loved the missions with the nuns

Brooo hitman absolution fibre wire kills are fire because the one you should was sick and you can do another version but in hitman 2 u can only do one version if you know what I mean
I love all 3,but have some qualms too. I dislike the fact that accident kills for non targets result in a penalty in WOA, along with I hate how you can only carry 1 weapon, 1 distraction, and 1 melee for a mission. For blood money, the only consistent way to distract or lure someone was through the RU-AP mine, because no matter how much I tried, the coin throw lure just didn't work the way I wanted, which WOA does so well. In absolution, the 2 main things that I hated were: first, the instinct system. I get that it made the game a bit more realistic, considering that IRL it shouldn't make sense if a guard disappears and then some bald guy appears wearing his uniform and no one bats an eye. But it made the game insufferable to play in some areas, especially at higher difficulties. Why should I even bother with a disguise, one of the most staple features of hitman, if I need to use this new half a*sed instinct feature. WOA made it so much better(although easier too, I wish they had removed instinct all together), and implemented higher difficulty in a proper manner. The second thing was the lack of sandbox approach in most of absolution levels. As for pros, the thing I loved about blood money were the weapon customizations, ability to kill anyone as long it was an accident without affecting the rating. For absolution, I loved the visual design they went with for the game, and the story which felt really action packed. And lastly, for woa, I love the vast levels with the high number of npc's, Mission stories, and the even more number of ways to kill people than blood money.
