"Added firemode select animations" You *what?* Dude. This might be the best thing that happened in the entire history of Anomaly. Hell 1.6 should have these by default when you finish every weapon.
Great job on making the hammer animations look so good! So many animators make the hammer drop too slow so it looks weird, or so fast it might as well not be animated. Yours hit that perfect balance.
These animations are excellent! In fact, they're the best I've seen in any mod, ever. Although I'd love to see the remaining military guns reanimated, you've earned a rest :)
WOW. firemode selection animations are so clean. and the TT is so well done. the mag release click is perfect. ive shot a tt33 and YEP literally what it looks and feels like.

Hello Blindside, I'm one of your fans. your work gave us a new breeze for stalkers who doesn't impressed by tactical accessories. I'm really grateful that i wish you know. I played with your mod quite a long so I wanna tell you feedback - don't get me wrong I'm loving with your mod just my impresses. I'm using Kiparis and PM. I loved your animation in the trailer when Kiparis is showing up its stock out. It was really cool and good job until I played with it - unlike old Anomaly, new version has PDA animation. So it's like that - when I wanna see PDA, I always fold stock and it took so much time. even in immersive view, it really doesn't make sense either in my opinion. Not only Kiparis but every guns animation except shotguns. AKs, PM series.. all have that safety animation and always safety on - off whenever I open PDA or change the weapons.. it's bit exhaust for me. and this exhaustion is enhanced when I use another great addon - Food, drinking and healing. Every time when I use healing item, stock is fold - unfold, weapon safety on - off.. Now I know maybe it is only me who feels like this. Also this weapon showing animation is your great effort that I know. No one wanna waste their effort. And probably a lot of stalkers prefer your weapon showing animation. But If you can, would you make an option file that every weapon showing animation is like your shotgun showing? that would be more enjoyable to play the game for some stalkers like me. I'm sorry for long comment - it's my way to ask something politely :)

I will feature a solution for you in the next major update, however you can offer yourself a temporary solution editing the configs of the weapons to include a faster draw/holster speed by editing these files: "gamedata -> configs -> items -> weapons -> gunname.ltx"

Cool firemode animations, just the sound plays before the animation. If it's an engine limitation, could include a half second of silence in the audio file.
I am really curious about how the animations for FN SCAR-H AEK 971 or HK416 will look like. I bet they will be dope. Keep going with the good work comrade!
Man, animations from this mod really make vanilla anims pale in comparison. It is a shame that (for now) it's early-tier weapons, considering guns that you get in late-game are way too powerful to rival the beginning weaponry, sans the RPK perhaps. I look forward to the update, because animations alone improve the weapon feedback by a ton. Hope to see some sniper rifles updated, hopefully the extra-expensive ones like M24 or Barrett. No pressure at all though! Work at your preferences and speed.
Just one thing from me: You don't push the magazine straight in SVT40, you have to hang the front top of the magazine in the receiver then turn the rear of magazine in to fully lock it.
@@BlindxSide You gotta put the top front in deeper, kinda like reverse unloading the magazine, on other look I noticed the magazine release lever bends (which it doesn't do, it only bends when you bend it with your finger) and it has to stay straight, otherwise the magazine can't be locked in the rifle. Good work tho, I don't think I have seen other SVT40 animator doing good job like this, even with a great looking rifle.
Crotch of the hand needs to be higher on the backstrap of the pistols. Also, your barrel on the 443 do not droop down when cycling, it looks strange when the slide is open. 443 is also underscaled
Anyone know of a mod that has both types of reload animations (reloading from an empty gun and reloading from a gun that still has a bullet in the chamber) for EVERY single gun?

Hi, I have a few questions : - Do you check 16 bit box and "optimize motion" before exporting omf in SDK ? - Did you notice some sounds are quite desynced with the animations ? SKS bolt release, VEPR unjam... all switches and many more ? Using time factor to check the syncing while designing it is a must and helps preventing that. - Do you have an issue with the gun becoming absolutely unusable if you try to shoot / reload while firemode switch animation is playing ? - Can you show a bit of walk, strafe, lean.. sprint.. etc animations ? Solid progress overall. I see you're having quite some fun with this mod ! :)
1. I don't have or see either of these options in my Actor Editor. 2. switch firemode just uses a generic sound for the moment. Next patch I will tailor a sound for each weapon. 3. This is an issue with the game/engine and not something I can fix. 4. Those animations are shown off briefly in this and my latest video. They aren't that important to show off. I show off the new walking animation for the SKS in this one though.
I installed this and my TT-23 has really messed up view models... tried uninstalling and reinstalling with a new download, as well as uninstalling any mods it might conflict with, but it stays really low. It looks like its waaay to the left, when im aiming from the hip its to the left of the screen, and when I ADS it's completely off screen. My FOV is at what it said it should be in the mod description, is there anything I can do to fix it? I honestly love this mod and really don't want to uninstall it I do have JSRS installed, but I also have the compatability pack if that helps nevermind the issue was a mod called full upgrade, i forgot I had it installed. I'd delete this comment but it might help someone else.

Might i ask what visual mods you use? Your zone looks crisp af compared to mine. Beatutiful animations, in vanilla anomaly i tend to care more about the look and feel of a gun, the way it holsters/unholsters, shoots, reloads, sounds, rather than the just the stats. The fire mode selector switch animation is an awesome idea. Keep it up bro!
Amazing work. I am having an issue though. I installed the updated pack over the previous one. Its working great, but the fire select ak74m animation seems to have stopped working. All the other ak ones are working and it still plays the sound. Any ideas?
@@BlindxSide I fixed it by just re-dropping the gamedata folder in again. It seemed to replace 2 files so maybe another mod had overwritten that specific animation. Again, amazing work! I don't want to use any weapons that you haven't reanimated. You've made it a lot more immersive!
Is the left hand supposed to hover down a little after every shot with the Saiga/Vepr? It's not really noticeable unless you're looking at it while firing but still.
It's probably just a small error in the hand positioning for the animations but I just didn't have enough time to fix it to release the patch when I planned.. plus it's not a huge priority. I will clean that up for the next patch.

Sounds like a mod conflict with another mod that is overwriting the tt33.ltx

Mods used in the video: my animations , THAP, JSRS, Sound overhaul. No graphic mods other than THAP.

Too many changes for 1 mod = too many conflicts with other mods. If it was only animations for vanilla weapons, thats will be better.
