This tutorial is beyond professional, this is master level. Very clear video and instructions, awesome illustrations on what is needed for sizes, tools, parts to remove, etc. On top of that, great music to go with it. Thank you for this video!
As me being a backyard mechanic, this is best, best far above professional instruction I've come across in years. If all instructors are like this very clear instructor, I'd say goodbye to the auto repair shops. Sadly, this guy's a once in a million blessing, a gold nugget in a mountain of soil. Where do they ever come from? Amazing!!! This guy's a TEN STAR ranker!
Bro, this should literally be industry standard for auto content creation.. every question I had, the answer popped on screen before I could even finish the thought, even down to music selection! (First other jazz addicts fan I've seen too! Props), every tool, bolt, location, tips to stay organized, bro thought of everything! Top quality, pro level work.. Nissan really screwed the back yard mechanics with this design, but thankfully I found the perfect hack through your work, sub'd and can't tell you how much appreciate all your effort and impetuous attention to detail. Bravo brother, and thanks for this gem!
3 years ago I struggled so hard doing this, now I just recently bought an Altima again and now I can do it with my eyes closed. thank you sooo much I know a lot of people will appreciate not spending 600$ on changing sparkplugs, that's what the dealer wanted to charge me for a sparkplug change.
By far the most impressive, thorough, professionally executed auto tutorial I've ever seen. You have demystified what would be very intimidating maintenance for the novice, shade tree mechanic (like me!) God bless you young man; keep posting. Especially for the VQE5 Nissan V6 engine. :)
One of the best DIY auto videos I've ever seen. Most are more talk and bs. You jump straight to the action and show really great closeups of what you are doing. Your popup notes are also really helpful and make it obvious which nut or whatever you are talking about. Thank you!
By far - the best audio/video tutorial for this job on RUclips! Thank you for taking the time to do such an excellent job at description of the work as well as your tools of choice!
I do most of the repairs on my Altima and have seen dozens of youtube tutorial videos. They were all helpful, but none were as descriptive, yet easy to follow as yours. You speak well and so it's easy to understand. You show every little step without skipping on even the smallest detail. I've subbed and will continue to follow your contents. It's awesome to learn from the mater! I plan to replace the ignition coils and as well as the spark plugs. I'll probably end up saving about 500 bucks thanks to you (my shop asked for $800 to replace 3 coils in the back row and 6 spark plugs). Money's been really tight as of late. You've really done me a solid with this. Thanks man. Really appreciate this.
Awesome. Finally a mechanic with simple, direct how tos. I hope your making good money for this. Only thing I could bitch about is the background music. Makes it hard to hear you through crappy phone speakers. But thanks. They really shouldn't make these spark plugs so difficult to replace. Keep it up I look forward to learning more from you
Im kinda car illiterate and this was the only video i could find that showed the front ignition coils and the fact that the spark plug is literally just underneath you got 1 more subscriber
Dude, seriously. This is the best video I've found on this job. Perfect footage, lighting, editing and information etc. If you're doing the valve cover/gasket job as well as the tune up with plugs/coils. Look no further. A++
Thanks man, I figured everything except those two bolds in the back… definitely save me a ton of time. Everything well explained and right to the point. I’m a diy-er and I really appreciate videos like yours. You got another subscriber. Keep it up.
I watched so many videos ,by far your is better, and clear, how to disconnect vacuum hose ,and last bolt. But why Nissan make it so dam hard to change Sparg plugs,I will never buy any Nissan again.
You need to teach these other RUclipsr mechanics how to properly make a fix it yourself video, the amount of detail and information ℹ️ 🎉 was a 10/10 thank you 🙏
I know this video is two years old but damn good diy video of this car thank you so much for uploading it you just saved me almost $300 worth of labor 👍👍👍
I like this video too, I have a 1998 Toyota Camry 4cyl, I can take my time and it only takes 15 minutes to change the spark plugs ,the reason I watched this video because a friend at work asked me if I could change her spark plugs, she has a 2005 Nissan murano, I asked her if it was a v6 or 4cyl ,she said 4cyl, so I said okay I'll do it piece of cake, yeah but now I wonder if there's even a 4cyl. Lol at least I know now that if is actually a v6. is not going to be a piece of cake lol.
Absolutely one of the best videos on this job. I watched every steps over and over and I made it out on my nissan V6. I liked the showing the two 'bolts' at the back of the intake manifold. Without this video I wouldn't be able to unlock those bolts.Thank you, and keep doing good works!!
You have to be the best person explaining how to and showing how to ,you are on point. I have watched hours and hours of videos and you are the best I have seen. I will watch yours first I hope I never have to look somewhere else anymore. Keep up the good work and I thank you for the videos
Thanks for this video! I am going to replace plugs and coils for family member on this vehicle. I was very concerned about tackling this, but you have been very helpful. Now I don’t dread it as much. I
Wow. Absolutely incredible walkthrough. Can’t thank you enough for this one. I would’ve never gotten this job done without this video. Very professional and thorough. Much appreciated.
@@ayojoe86 I did the front three alone but had a buddy help me take the manifold off to get to the other three. Your going to have to get a new gasket for under the manifold because its not good to use the old one. Its not too bad to take off the manifold there's just like 3 or 4 things that bolt to it, but if you take a picture before you take it off you should be good. If you have a mechanic do it i wouldn't pay more then like $50 cause its not that bad. Man i can't wait to get a 4 cylinder civic or camry, so easy to work on!
It would be selfish of me to not share how helpful this video was. Thanks for sharing. By far the best and I've watched a few on this before finding this video.
This is one of the most detailed and professional videos I have ever seen, great job brother. Thank you for being so detailed and taking the time to make this video. Great job
What are some strategies that you do to keep yourself from plugging hoses to the wrong areas? This was a very detailed video. I live it overall and hope to see more on this particular engine or Nissan V6 models.
most hoses will tend to fall into the direction of where they where, because they have been there so long. Plus i understand how the vehicle works so it makes i easier. But you cacn always grab yourself a roll of masking tape and label everything if you feel like you may make a mistake.
I'm still don't finish to see the video and i can tell so far that this tutorial is one of the best, Clear and easy... I'm going to see the rest of your videos te see your jog. Awesome!. here is my like and my subs, share for sure. Thanks for share it.

Great tutorial/vid. Great resource for 02-06 V6 Altima owners. Love to see more vids like with with other Nissans. We have an old 94 Altima with the 2.4L, and it's still running like a champ. Original trans/engine. The only constructive criticism is that you might only want to remove one plug at a time to prevent crap from getting in the engine. With my luck, something would fall in. LOL. I, too, also use anti-seize on the spark plug threads and dielectric grease on the coil side.
ReclusiveMountainMan thanks I appreciate the support man... The older Altima with the 2.4 is a solid drivetrain.. very reliable. My wife used to have a 97 Altima.
Why I drop my ratchet while taking out the power steering line bolt🤦🏿♂️😂😂. Impossible to get it with the manifold on, luckily I got it loose enough. Cold video bro couldn’t have done this without your help💪🏿💯
