With my 12 I found out that the bolt tolerance in the bolt carrier is vert tight , it tends to get a bit sticky in its recoil , the bolt hangs up towards the back part of the carrier. Also the lug that slides forward and back in the lug groove is very tight and the combination of both the bolt and the lug on the bolt being very tight keeps it from ejecting properly ,causing an extraction problem! Till it’s broke in ,more like 600 rounds be sure to clean every time you use it . I used lithium grease on both the lug groove and the bolt and carrier where the bolt rotates inside the carrier! Problem solved!
Dammit.. I need to get mine back out. It ran good with slugs, but I had some hang-ups with the Winchester ammo. I was told at least 500 rounds before it's broken in and runs with no issues ... I only have 150 rounds through it..
The real problem is the bolt inside the bolt carrier jams due to the back side of the bolt carrier deforming because the hammer hits the back bolt channel in carrier ,you need to take a dremmel and grind off enough so there is enough meat in the bottom of bolt carrier channel ,end of problem !
My 10 and 5 run great, 8 not so much. 20 is good to 18 rounds just adjusted it. Trigger is FAST! But if you want the reliability go with the VEPR, vepr wins hands down out of the box plus cycles EVERYTHING with zero adjustment but FO12 is ergonomic af, looks BA and is fun af. But if you want to cut the price in half..vepr 12..or 1 of each, lol.
It's the birdshot, that type shotgun is not dsigned to shoot bird. Yes, it will shoot it, but with problems no matter how much you play with the gas. I wont go into why. My Origin once I realized this hasn't had 1 problem after 100's of rounds.
This SBV "fire arm" is my grail. How much work is it to get this in the hands of a civilian? I can throw money at a wall but after the recall, what do I have to do to get my hands on such an awesome machine?
That's a gas gun. Do not mix loads in the magazine! You must know what you are shooting and set the gas appropriate to the load. Over gassing is as problemic as under gassing.
Most semi auto shotguns are gas guns. We do the gauntlet test on all the shotguns we test. But to your point, you are correct. The Origin needs to be tuned to the specific ammo being fired.

Good to know

You'd hope for the price that it would've been done at the factory.

The big downside is the outrageous price in the 20s and 30s

@EddieZ999 for a shotgun geared towards 3 gun, it should run birdshot just fine. It'll do it, it's just super picky on ammo.
I'm still surprised how few subs you have, with so many videos.
Its been steady growth. I'll always take more.
I would have been funnier than hell if the video cut over to Jerry miculek and he's just sitting there going I swear I hear a challenge I swear
If only I was cool enough to know him.
What is the adapter yall use to attach the slavo 12? cant find anything on it for mine.
The fostech to remchoke adapter. Then remchoke to salvo.
Looks fun
It definitely is
SUPER coool !
Thank you

Just an NFA item. Purchase, form for it, pay the tax stamp, wait, and eventually it'll be yours.
Take my money !
It's a chunk of change, but it's fun.
