Thoroughly enjoyed this outing and learnt so much as a beginner.

Great Henk. Terence told me some of your ideas for the Lion park. Very nice indeed.

Thanks Anthony. Yes, looking forward to see what we can do to make the trail exciting!

    Great video!
A Ford everest is not bad for a standard 4x4, I have also done the entirety of the Hennops trail completely stock.
But after fitting a steel bash plate for the front and fuel tank along with some rock sliders I feel like I now own a torque-tank 😂
Only downside is the higher end models with their big rims and the low breakover angle.
Some aftermarket 17 inch rims and new tough dog suspension will take care of that very nicely over the next year!

Thank you. Most vehicles will take you far in stock form. I have a 4x2 Everest as work vehicle. Reached some interesting places. Low profile tyres and side steps are the biggest problems.

Nice Video. Does not seems to be to technical. Can I do the trail on my own? of will it be better to be at least 2 vehicles? I would assume on a wet day it will be quite a different trail?

Thank you very much. No, it is not difficult and you should be able to drive it on your own. It will help if you have a spotter for some of the tighter turns or where the bumper is close to the ground, but most you should be able to drive without any problems.

Nice work there - was there a few weeks ago and would have done it in a Disco 4. Main challenge with both of my rigs is they're both on road biased tyres. Do you think this would be doable on those or AT and beefier only

Thank you. There are some rocky parts, but they can be avoided. Most of the trail as seen should be driveable with road tyres.

@@4WheelingSA Thanks so much… will give it a try - follow up question - second car no lockers - Audi Q7 (on 20 inch). Wouldn’t mind coming through for your next excursion in either one…

@@moagimpshe8814 the 20” might be a problem. A big risk of loosing a tyre. I am consideringva group outing in the new year. Will post it on the FB page when it is confirmed.
