i don't understand how he is not wearing gloves at the beginning ? i wear them in in uk when kayaking. especially he is from new Zealand so he would be use to the warm?
Never Kyaked before, but I have a question. Does it hurt their backs at all when they land those massive waterfall drops since they are landing in a sitting position?
+MrSamuelini1995 Smaller waterfalls are okay to land flat but as the height increases it can be very abrupt and cause spinal fractures so thats when they start to angle the kayak vertically into the landing and that way the kayak takes most of the force. But spinal injuries are quite common for whitewater kayakers who drop the falls. But we do it for the love of it!
+Eugene Shevchenko They probably added color grading to make the colors pop more. It's done in the editing software. A lot of the times the footage from camera looks like shit but you can correct the colors and it looks a lot better.
