Hello! Thank you and thrilled for you AND the kiddos. So much fun to get them involved. Kudos❤️❤️❤️ thank you for watching my channel and taking time to comment. Appreciate it to the moon🦋
I know people who feed birds dread the squirrels but he looked so sweet swinging in the feeder! I have a cherry tomato plant and one squirrel likes to climb the plant and steal little tomatoes. Then he sits on the fence and eats them. Bet I get new plants next year by the fence! Lol
Hello! I don’t mind the squirrels. They are welcome at our home. We have plenty for everyone 😂 you describe white the show at your own home. They are pretty amusing☀️thank you for watching and taking a moment to comment!
Hi! Thank you! Wow.Love your enthusiasm😀appreciate you watching and taking the time to leave me a comment! Tag me @marcieziv on IG would love to see your creative feeders!
Jajaja😀yes for certain! Those squirrels are most entertaining! Quite the gymnasts💯Thank you for watching Diane and taking the time to leave a comment🐿🐿🐿🐿🐿
I used the pie container from the store that had a whole pie. I put holes in the bottom to drain the rain water. I am trying to figure out how to attach the top of the container so that it will be a cover. really like the can idea
Hello! If I’m understanding correctly…. Take your pie container , attach your 4 chains or rope at equal points, bring them up together above so they join in center/ take your top , make a center hole and run the gathering of 4 chains or rope up thru center, make a knot and hang. Does that make sense? Thank you for watching my channel❤️
to help make your platform (mushroom container) feeder more "waterproof" make some very small holes in the bottom of the tray so when it rains the water will run out and the food won't sit in water and become a mushy mold. also if using jute. i like to braid like 3 strands together. t tried just using 1, but i barely lasted one season. when i braided 3 together i got 5 seasons. I live in the midwest and leave them out all year. And 5 yrs usuallly outlasts the recycled feeders.
Hello! Yes thank you. Indeed I ended up placing holes in the mushroom Feeder and it’s under a big loquat branch so it doesn’t receive a lot of water when it rains. Braiding the jute is great. Certainly my viewers will appreciate your input. 😊Thank you for watching my channel and taking time to comment🥰
Love your bird feeder ideas! Heck, where was I a year ago when this video came out? I am always looking for new ideas to attract more birds to my yard. Any ideas for bird feeders to put out in a heavily snowy area? Just subscribed!
Aww you are just too cute! Thank for subscribing and watching my videos! Many of the ideas presented in this birdfeeder vid may be used for cold /snow weather. When I lived up north we would take suet and mix with oats, seeds and fruits - - lard can be put directly on tree bark and birds love that. Also making seed rings and place in feeders or hang. If you clear snowy area below feeders and place seeds on below that’s good also. Hanging a grapefruit rind ( half) and fill with goodies. - suspend with a macrame like basket. The beauty of being in cold and snow is that the food doesn’t deteriorate as rapidly as in heat. 😀
Hello Charles! I made the horse. I’m an artist by profession. This is what I do when I’m not making birdfeeder videos. Thank you for watching my channel! Appreciate you taking time to comment😀
Hi Cindy. The tennis ball can I believe is the feeder you refer to. The feeder has 4 holes in it for placement of sticks as well as holes just above where the stick placements are. This allows for the birds to put their beaks into the holes to grab food whilst keeping food dry. Thank you for watching 😀
Yes. Ty. The classic recipe is 4 parts water to part sugar as it comes close to the natural sucrose levels found in their favorite flowers. In the winter or foggy and cold weather I make the 3 -1 for more energy as per the National Audubon Society. Thank you for watching my channel and taking time to comment😊 Much appreciated.
@twinfin8571 actually thank you. Chances are if you don’t see that I’m making the jokes there then others don’t as well. As a content creator I’m the one who needs to address that & slow down steps for viewers. These comments are so helpful. ☀️

Just found this video. Awesome ideas and your yard is amazing. Do you have a video on bird houses? Thanks Mary
Hello and thank you! I do not have a bird house vid out yet and will def let you know when I do! 🦋❤️😀

Now I have a use for my coffee cans. If you eat at KFC the containers for mashed potatoes and coleslaw make excellent hummingbird feeders
Love it!! Thank you for watching! 🥰
wow..that horse is beautiful.. is it made with upcycled articles too..😊💯👏👏
Hi! Thank you. The life size horse sculpture is made from fiberglass.

where did you get that colorful horse behind you in the beginning of this video ????
Hello Charles! I made the horse. I’m an artist by profession. This is what I do when I’m not making birdfeeder videos. Thank you for watching my channel! Appreciate you taking time to comment😀
I didn’t see how you gave the birds access to the food on the one with the red top and 2 sticks. Where was it?
Hi Cindy. The tennis ball can I believe is the feeder you refer to. The feeder has 4 holes in it for placement of sticks as well as holes just above where the stick placements are. Need tape on edges of plastic and tin.
Thank you!
Hummingbird nectar recipe is actually 4 parts water and 1 part sugar.

I don’t see how the birds are getting the food out of feeder 4
There are little holes for them to feed from.
@@marcieziv . Ok. I knew there had to be holes but I didn’t see you make them so I wasn’t sure how big they were. Tks. Great video!
The holes are above where the perches are. I went back to look at video myself😂they were made at same time with the hot tip of solder tool.😊
@@marcieziv . Thanks. Maybe I need to slow down the video at that point. Sorry for any inconvenience.

greese the pole no crawlling
Paint wears off metal bad I would leave it shiny and deer would leave it alone.
Yes good idea if you have a deer issue
Feed them and they will come and I promise they will also tell friends
Yeeesss!! Isn’t that the truth! My yard is a busier landing field than La Guardia! 😂
it would be nice to kill the music so you can hear what you are saying
Hello. Thank you for the comment. Appreciate the helpful feedback.😀thank you for watching!
what a man's hands 😮😧😳
Hello and thank you for watching!😀
Spray the shepherd's hook with WD 40 to stop squirrels from climbing it.
Very good idea! Ty for sharing. Appreciate you watching my channel😊
