I hate to break it to you and be the debbie downer.. or was it downer debbie... I hate to be the little debbie. but dogs love the majority of rural north dakota. and they have great out-doorsie connections with their owners and cowboys (I use that word in the literal sense.. there's a lot of cattle herding and breeding up there)..... long story short, the Badlands in north dakota is beautiful where dogs get to run free and have as much fun as they want.. they can even go to strip clubs if they want to... but on a serious note, north dakota is a great state.. it was one of the only two states aside from indiana that was not in debt... as opposed to the other 48 states that were in federal debt lol. lots of hard working people up there. I had never seen a dog on a leash since I'd lived in north dakota.. ever, even when they bring the pets into town. These free roaming dogs and cattle just have a great relationship with the ecosystem up there.. oh yeah, and fuck barbed wire fence. and fuck electrified barbed wire fence twice as hard.. and trying to walk across cattle guards. You'll snap a leg before you can say the phrase "ellen degenerate is a flaming lesb-" oops, leg's broken.. compound fracture looks like

But North Dakota (and any rural area) honestly just seems so isolated. I mean if I wanted to go out and do something at 3am with my friends I can. If I wanted to do a different activity with my friends everyday I can. My family is originally from the Louisiana and though I didn't grow up there whenever my family describes their upbringing I kind of feel sorry for them and their lack of experience in trying anything new. Not trying to insult anyone. I guess I just enjoy the adventure that comes with living in a big city
