I don’t get it, why are Red states (such as North Dakota) always made fun of for being anti-Semitic (the “boo Jews” license plate joke?) Literally, one of the main values or factions of the modern American Conservative (basically MAGA/the New Right) movement is Judeo-Christianity. For example, many Hasidic Jews in places like New York support Trump (mainly because they’re not too keen on the whole COVID lockdown agenda.) Judaism, like American Republicanism/Libertarianism, is also a very pro-life and traditionalist religion, and upholds certain values like family, gender roles, a general belief in God, etc. If ANYTHING, the modern American Leftists/Democrats would be anti-Semitic because they’re Woke, which means they support abortion and hate family values&biological genders, and because they’re mostly very Atheist, while Jews have are deeply-rooted in spirituality because it’s a SUPER old and influential religion. So it makes no sense, really.
As funny as this, if things ever get like Armageddon we’re probably going to be flocking to places like North Dakota and asking the locals to take us in
I lived in Bismarck for a couple years and there was an insurance building downtown with a cool weather beacon on the roof that glowed red when the temperature was going up, white when it was going down, and green when it was going to stay the same. It also blinked when there was going to be precipitation. I thought that was pretty neat.
Me also kinda being low key offended being born in South Dakota saying that North Dakota is exactly the same is wrong. North Dakota is it’s own strong state and so is South Dakota. We are different and we shouldn’t be stereotyped by being known as “oh yeah like North Dakota.” Or Vice Versa.
If the weirdos from out east who vist TR National park to see the Nokota Horses are any indication of how the rest of the east coast acts, lets just say were glad you're not coming to visit.
