I caught a bit of an episode once and the question was What's the official name of a squirrel nest? and the kid got it and the adult didn't.
You can look at it 1 of 2 ways. It's either about how bad adults memories are or it's a study in how much of the stuff we teach children is completely useless in later life.

Lisa remarking to her mom that we should address the root social systems that cause crime, and her mom replying "look Lisa! It's McGriff, the crime dog!" The workers at the plant forming a union to keep their dental plan ("they have the plant, we have the power"). The time Lisa finds out the town's beloved town founder was a monster in reality, which is a parody of every bastard in real life who's been made into a mythological hero, like Christopher Columbus (who gets murderous on purpose). There's a million leftist scenes in classic Simpsons.

@@WarriorLionstripe Not true. He was the chancellor of the Kingdom of Prussia, which led the german states to unify into the German Empire under the rulership of Kaiser Wilhelm the 1st. Bismarck helped the unification process by strategically creating economic and political unions in the North German Confederation, but he didn't rule any states. It was only when Kaiser Wilhelm the 2nd rose to power that he dismissed the chancellor because of pride and a sense of wanting uniqueness from the previous emperors, which ultimately became a driving factor to the start of world war 1.
