I do have a lot of respect for people pursuing their dreams no matter what. And I do admire the passion Neil Breen puts into his films and how he tries to deliver as much professionalism as he is able to. Although, It doesn't necessary tell anything about the quality of his personality. It's obvious that Neil Breen has some narcissistic disorder which prevents him to perceive the reality around him as it is. In my opinion he is immune to self-criticism and he sees the world as a ten-year-old. It's awesome he does what he loves (considering how fucking hilarious his art is), however I would be very careful in giving him any credit for his personal traits.
I think if he is honest about paying everyone, then at least he´s treating people in the biz a lot better than many other people do. I´m sure he is delusional to a high degree in some ways at least, but he does come off as a pretty pleasant person in the interview. I would be very curious to know what he´d be like to know in real life or how it would be to work for him.

Agreed. He seems like a guy who just loves to make films, like a lot of us. Finishing one feature films is difficult and he has made a number of them. People try to make fun of him but his films play in theaters and make money. So he's doing better than most creative people out there.

The hardcore cult film aficionados of that genre look for goofy and funny things. People will laugh at parts of my film. I totally understand that. I didn’t do it as a comedy or a satire. He's a breenius. Plain and simple.
I've hacked into the most secret of Government and corporate secrets.
5:52 “and through the first half of the film the audience made chocolate farts”
I know that’s not what he said but the audio got fuzzy there and that’s what I heard and what the subtitles read.
Literally can't hear anything else now.
Can NOT stop laughing. Thank you for making my day, a year later. If that makes sense.
Well let's be honest, we're not laughing with him, we're laughing at him.
but he loves it
But that’s not necessarily a bad thing because at the same time I also admire him.
15:38 he finally broke... that's the Breen effect!
Nothing makes me laugh harder than his movies make me laugh, like to the point of cardiac arrest 😭 🤣🥲
