The strategy of Ottoman should be greatly appreciated: Instead of conquering the city (which was extremely well protected by high wall and seawater) directly, Ottomans had purposely occupied most of the original territories of the Empire first and the Empire thus became much weaker before the final war in 1453. Since the Empire had lost control of most trade routes in Argean Sea either, the 'Romans' eventually lacked any financial and material supports outside the city during the time of siege. The victory of Ottomans was then just a matter of time.

Stones to drop on the intruders would actually be more effective. Heavy rocks maintain their cohesion and are more likely to kill a bunch of people whereas boiling oil would just injure them. This is a minority opinion among the scholars but few say, the conquest of constantinople is the one that took place in 1453. And the children of bani ishaq are the jannissaries (european origin) of the ottoman army. And the city crumbling with takbeer is the takbeer that was said before launching those heavy canons in those days. Yes Allah can make any city fall with just the takbir. HE is able to do all things. But Allah didnt give these type of miracles to even prophets. Without doing anything, just saying takbir , Allah wouldnt have enabled that although he can. We always need to put some effort while trusting in Allah's victory. And the canons were part of the effort. When prophet (saw) said they wouldnt be using weapons to take down the city the scholars say, he meant weapons of their time.. like swords and arrows. If people think theres another conquest of constantinople to happen and with takbeer alone we will conquer it, then why does the hadeeth say, they will hang the swords after the conquest of constantinople on olive trees. All the evidences point to the 1453 conquest and not any other conquest. I seriously feel our scholars have become too delusional and Allah truly knows best. I can also explain the hadeeth about dajjal appearing after conquest of Constantinople in the form of rennaissance starting in europe with eye of providence in every painting and structure symbolising the dajjalic presence and colonisation of lands by the west and the subjugation of indigenous people and erasing their livelihoods and their culture and bringing about a new world order of the WESTERN LIBERAL MOVEMENT which is a dajjalic movement of freedom and atheism. This started right after the conquest of constantinople of 1453. Dajjal has been travelling around the world destroying cities he hates and building cities he favours which are in disobedience to Allah. But he will make a FORMAL APPEARANCE right before Isa (a.s) appears in Damascus. But i feep he is already travelling around the world . Thats why the secret societies of Knights templars, freemasons and illuminati exist to protect the TRUE IDENTITY OF THEIR GREAT GRAND MASTER till he actually appears. ALLAH KNOWS BEST.

The moat itself is more than 5 meter in width and the wall is divided up into 2 layer, inner and outer so even if the outer wall is breached, the attacker will have to go through the 2nd inner wall which is even taller than the outer. The city has been sieged multiple times in the history of Byzantine and never fallen until the introduction of the cannons.

Stones to drop on the intruders would actually be more effective. Heavy rocks maintain their cohesion and are more likely to kill a bunch of people whereas boiling oil would just injure them.

Constantinopolis should have been saved. We, westerns, were somehow also responsible of have left the last romans alone.
Where's part 2??
It was 29 May 1453 and Tuesday when Kostantinoupoli fell…
ALLAH KNOWS BEST.
bruh shut up
You're the one that is delusional

Nope. That would be Phanar poisoning Tsar Dusan and the Serb Tsardom falling apart.
The Serb and (very weak) Romaian states had confederated, and Dusan was proclaimed as Imperator/Autocrator of the Romaian Empire.
He was about to take Constantinople and liberate it from the corrupt Phanar merchants running it and its Church (that were working with the Turks), then kick the Turks out of Asia Minor, but alas...
Had Dusan lived, European history would be drastically different. No Turks, no Austrian Empire, no WW1, etc...
@@borisfrlic There would've been Turks. It was inevitable the Turks would've arrive to the balkans and seized it.
