One of my favorite songs by Ms Carly. This brings back so many wonderful memories how great music was back in 70s and 80s. This is real music, real singing. God bless you Carly Simon. You are legendary, an icon.
One of the true greats The voice is spot on Very few artists can do a live performance and have it sound good She is a treasure Her NYC Central Park video is another one that is just incredible
Martha's Vineyard, where Carly still spends every summer was an absolutely gorgeous place for a performance, especially by one of the most unique and incredible voices of her time.
I love this woman's music. My second year in the Army and she was blowing up the charts with her smooth soulful voice, she is one singer that stands out in voice and style. just beautiful woman and so much heart.
In her autobiography she recounts her difficult childhood. Her parents considered her the ugly child, inferior in every way to her sisters. So it is gratifying to see her outshine both Joanna and Lucy Simon in her adult years.
Love me some Carly! Love how the wind blows thru her beautiful hair, on her gorgeous face…and she just dances and belts out this song! Wish I had been there to witness and sing with her.
2:22 min While listening to this great tune I've realized one thing - modern pop artists today unfortunately have forgotten about the saxophone completely ...
Growing up, I idolized Carly Simon and Olivia Newton-John ... two talent powerhouses and nice women. My mom owned all of Carly's albums and she got me hooked on her wonderful music. For a woman who had stage fright, you'd never know it ... she's so terrific. Love ya, Carly!!
I was not into Carly but I was really into ONJ. Now I look back and gawk at how pretty Carly was. Olivia too, obviously. Carly got over her stage fright by this time she said.
my dad helped her with the solo performance anxiety; she had done all this great work with her sister, they won awards as The Singing Simon Sisters. But going solo was a tough jump for her and came with a lot of high expectations, especially as sales soared and the venue size magnified repidly. My dad is Buzzy Linhart also a singer-songwriter-musician - he wrote and also sang on The Love's Still Growing on her first album. No doubt Carly had (and has) her own unique talent and sound and became a very good live perfomer as well.
I 1st heard her as a post/ pre-teen(?) in the early 70's around the time she married James Taylor..I found a very deep resonance in both voices but "felt" them in my soul 🤔..I've since enjoyed their post marital offerings.. BUT, I recently "discovered" her videos singing "you're so vain, you belong to me", and cannot recall the 3rd song but I felt those songs deeper in my soul than I expected..I love her very much spiritually and I thank her for her "singing sensuality" and making me feel like a spring chicken..🐔.. she's right, I do belong to her..❤
I have loved this talented singer since her debut of Your So Vain in November 1972. I was 20 years old then and have been a huge fan since. ❤ much love and best wishes for Carly.

Hits close to home!
Agreed
Carly is a legendary master musician, fan for over 50 years, beautiful singer and beautiful lady
I’m 35 and she was before my generation and damn… the simplicity in this… beautiful.
And you belong to us Carly!!!
There will only be one Carly!! Always one of a kind beauty of a voice❤🎶
So sexy and classy. No one writes songs like this anymore not even close. A great artist accompanied by other great talents on that stage. Wish I could have been at this concert.
Nice song
Billie Little o
So, love how the wind compliments every one of her moves.
You are at “the concert”, me too, by the magic of RUclips, over and over again, brilliant,

Written and performed by the Doobie Brothers on their Livin on the Fault Line album. Michael McDonald was the lead singer at the time.
This song is terrific. And she is absolutely mesmerizing.
I love this song!
One of my favorite songs by Ms Carly. This brings back so many wonderful memories how great music was back in 70s and 80s. This is real music, real singing. God bless you Carly Simon. You are legendary, an icon.
One of the true greats
The voice is spot on
Very few artists can do a live performance and have it sound good
She is a treasure
Her NYC Central Park video is another one that is just incredible
Natural talent, an angel singing amongst us, listening to Carly today makes 2020 not so bad at all. ❤️
The voice is iconic. That feathery vibrato... timeless.
Martha's Vineyard, where Carly still spends every summer was an absolutely gorgeous place for a performance, especially by one of the most unique and incredible voices of her time.
Yea and you need to be a zillionaire or Bum Obama to afford to even drive thru.
@@vince1638 That’s a talk radio cliche. It doesn’t cost an arm and leg to take the ferry. Most people take short visits and don’t live there.
@@vince1638 you Caucasians can't stop trying to demoralize former President Obama.
@@dwightpowell6673 You can't demoralize a human that has no morals you racist ass.
My forefathers and their wives fished and hunted there: Proud CARLY Loves it . I AM PART DELAWARE> a Lenni Lenape
Happy 80th Carly.
Oh My. Her voice is crystal. Amazingly beautiful.
Hello @Maria Queenan
I love this woman's music. My second year in the Army and she was blowing up the charts with her smooth soulful voice, she is one singer that stands out in voice and style. just beautiful woman and so much heart.
I always thought that Carly was so Beautiful, and she still is, and she has a soulful voice. xx
In her autobiography she recounts her difficult childhood. Her parents considered her the ugly child, inferior in every way to her sisters. So it is gratifying to see her outshine both Joanna and Lucy Simon in her adult years.
Ow she looks like Steven Tyler and he looks like her. Lady looks like a dude!!
A favorite of mine
Haywood JaBlome, not nice. Not nice at all.
Speak Tom yes she does love her
No music compares to Carly! A Beautiful Legend! So glad I grew up with this beautiful music!
I am having a Carly Simon day, blown away by this naturally talented woman, singers these days are embarrassing
My God! THIS is pure gift and talent. What a privilege to grow up being influenced by REAL arrangement and music
Love me some Carly! Love how the wind blows thru her beautiful hair, on her gorgeous face…and she just dances and belts out this song! Wish I had been there to witness and sing with her.
Absolutely love Carly Simon.

Totally agrree! I'm down to get Carly on anytime!
Every now and then a gifted vocalist comes together with an extremely talented band and magic happens.
she has such a pure and beautiful voice. What talent.
Hi Betsy
Thank you Carly for Sharing your Beautiful Talents for So Long. You've made life More Bearable. Love, Love Love.
She is just the greatest! Prayers for her recent loss of her sisters.
Both survived breast cancer.

i love carly and olivia too
I was not into Carly but I was really into ONJ.
BUT, I recently "discovered" her videos singing "you're so vain, you belong to me", and cannot recall the 3rd song but I felt those songs deeper in my soul than I expected..I love her very much spiritually and I thank her for her "singing sensuality" and making me feel like a spring chicken..🐔.. she's right, I do belong to her..❤
I could listen to this twenty times a day.
Paul Baker ..........Paul, Paul, Paul, just twenty!!
Sometimes do.

Absolutely brilliant performance! My fav of all her songs! Epic voice
Carly Simon is really a beauty. I love the way she smiles and the way she sings. I remember hearing this as a child and loved it!!!
I have loved this talented singer since her debut of Your So Vain in November 1972. I was 20 years old then and have been a huge fan since. ❤ much love and best wishes for Carly.
She has the perfect beautiful voice for this song, so pure and pleading.
So GORGEOUS and timeless.. Love you, Carly.
I was among the thousands of men in love with Carly Simon, she most certainly was the total package.
Carly Simon touched my heart like no other. I could listen to her music every day and never get tired of hearing her sweet voice.
She has such a beautiful haunting voice I love her voice amazing
Hello Marian, How are you doing?
She never ever gets old and her music is just the greatest! Todays artists cannot hold a candle to Carly!
A beautiful woman, a great song, a breezy setting all add up to a magical evening. Man, thank the music Gods for this time machine, I'm blown away.
Carly’s music is timeless.
Solid gold. Transcends all gendres. Hard to believe she could sound so great LIVE. Her songs are brilliant and in my view under-rated.
