Hey! Love your videos! So I have a little issue with Lightworks- when I slide through the video in my timeline the playback is really choppy. And when I click import there is no option to transcode. There are only two options, create link and copy to local. I'm using Lightworks version 2021.3

i added the image into the video as its background. it looks great, and this tutorial talking about the keyframes really helped a lot. However, when i start playing the video, the entire video looks like its lagging or pausing for each frame. idk what i did wrong and idk what to do. I used 30fps on my video btw. Please reply asap, thank yoy for the tutorial

It might. Be your computers processing of the software. Export a test file just to see how it looks and tweak it as you see fit back in the editing software

I believe I said something about that in this video. Go over the sequence you edited. Press and hold control and drag it to the side and you should copy it

I've been trying to do exactly what this tutorial says for hours, but whenever I add a jpeg (in this case my test picture is a pichu without a background), I don't get a black background and it adds the image exactly as it's pictured. I also cannot crop out the black sides (nothing at all happens). Finally, I can't even get the key frames to work (it doesn't animate at all. The only way I can get anything to move is if I literally chop the pichu pic up and assign a different position every few frames).
What am I doing wrong? :C It looks so simple with what you've shown but I just can't figure out how to make it work.

That all depends on the frames per second you export your video in. 30 FPS would be more choppy looking when compared to a video exported in 60 FPS. And due to the limitations of free software you might be stuck at 30

Look at timestamp 3:11 if you look at the left side next to all the axis you'll also see a section labeled rotation. They look like wheels. Mess with those and you'll be able to rotate pictures and key frames work just the same on those as well.
