      Did you found out that it is having 'long' crank time on purpose to build up oil pressure in manifold before combustion?

      @@leojt9423 Hello again, mate! Have you ever had any troubles with a leaking roof? Water is coming through a few specific places. Ive theorized with my dad its probably coming through the sunroof, and some internal canals that might have a leak? Or that the sealing around the windsheild is just not good enough?

      @@chickenmasterman hey there! Sunroof leaks are common on these. There are indeed sunroof drains. They’re in the front corners (I think just the front - maybe the back too?) take some weed eater line and fish them all the way down the passages to clear them up!

    I like the tank like feel of the e32, the e38 is more posh. The e32 is muscular it gives a w142 competitor feel

      Agreed completely!

    • @houseofno
      @houseofno 9 месяцев назад +2

      There is something to be said for both cars. The E32 definitely has better build quality, and I personally prefer its timeless design and (relative) simplicity over the E38. To the E38's credit, it's a more powerful and much more comfortable car, lots more amenities than the E32 (I love the E38's digital climate controls, and I am jealous of that heated steering wheel some E38's got). The E38 is an attractive car in its own right, but it's somewhat unfair to compare the E32 to the E38 from a styling standpoint. Each has its own styling virtues, but I will say that the E32 had more available trunk space!
      I love the color and sound of your E32, but IMHO, something is lost with those generic looking exhaust tips. The square OEM exhaust tips were a fac tory exclusive to the E32 V12 cars and looked very distinctive.

    • @leojt9423
      @leojt9423  9 месяцев назад

      @@houseofno I just owned, daily drive and sold a 2001 750iL Sport and feel the E38 is a much better daily driver. The M73 paired with the 5spd auto is leagues better and more powerful than the M70 and 4spd. However I much prefer the styling of the E32 and the E32 interior. Both amazing cars! I think I’ve owned 4x E32s and 3x E38’s.
      Regarding the exhaust: the stock squads tips were definitely cool. However, the original exhaust system on this car was the only rust and it rotted out. I replaced it with a B&B which is a big name in BMW world and they have a very distinctive exhaust tip shape too.

    Похоже муфту вентилятора у нее заклинило. Если на улице 36 по фаренгейту это + 2 по цельсию. Муфта вентилятора должна прокручиваться и вентилятор должен едва крутиться. А вообще, смотр, рыдаю, у меня была такая машина с 2000 до 2005 года.

      Long cranking is usually a sign that your fuel pumps are aging, or its a failed check valve, or it could be the start of a possible fuel line deterioriation causing a loss in fuel pressure when the car sits.

    • @Minto107
      @Minto107 9 месяцев назад +1

      @@houseofno but it wasn't that long of a crank. I had a car that had its fuel pump failing and it would crank twice as long as this E32. Newer cars just start faster (my N52 starts pretty quickly for example)
