Imagine buying cars and not DRIVING the dam things... If I had the money to do so, I'd be out there daily in a F40, F1, or GT40 between riding bikes like a Vincent Black Shadow.
Sadly most of the people are buying them not to enjoy them or because they like them but just as an appreciating asset
@@Sbinott0 and that's exactly what is wrong with the car market... When "investors" become "car guys." I understand saving a few fine examples in museums for the later generations to enjoy, though they should be places like the REVS Institute in Naples, FL with running/drivable examples.
It's just madness. Especially when everything can be repaired or replaced to as new or better than original. I get that it isn't what the car came with. Who is really going to care that the Countach has the original set of tyres with it? Lol
F40 is the most beautiful car in my mind. I am a Japanese car fan but the F40 is the greatest design maybe of anything ever. Building, stadium, monument nothing beats it for me.

If it were up to me I'd buy as many of these low mileage cars as possible and rack up as many miles as possible on them. Just to get the satisfaction of making the speculators squirm.
I wouldve been the guy wanting to drive it and when he said it's original tires no miles the exhaust hasn't even been heated good I wouldve said and it's a cruel tragedy this car has never stretched but I also believe in buying amazing cars for amazing drives

@@bva365 well he's only talking about classics and if you think about it I think he's right, I mean gas-powered cars are going to be banned, plus he had the only diablo SV in a originally painted 1 of-1 color with 900 miles that thing should be put in a museum yeah it's fun to drive these cars around but I personally wouldn't do it if it was the only one in the world, your talking about cars that are classics and are going to be worth more than you can imagine in a 5-10 years not some 2010 M5 or a normal car.

I remember many many years ago I saw an ad on used cars website in Qatar of a manual grey lp640 with a pink interior being sold in Saudi Arabia. I was so amazed by that car as a kid. Never seen it again or any like it

Temerian is using this channel as well as Curated TV to set the market on cars he has personally invested in.
These Lambos as as "One-of-One" as classic Corvettes- based on interior trim, paintjob, drive train and mileage-
As undriven cars, these "Unique" Lambos are more expensive to maintain than normal Lambos (lack of use complicates mechanical functions)
They are also stressful to drive (the 200miles/year needed to keep it functional) difficult to live with, hard to insure and have limited financial upside, even as they are really pretty to look at...
The community of cool, old millionaires who can afford to buy, maintain, insure and NOT DRIVE these special Lambos cars is small-
As Temerian already knows ALL of these dudes he needs to convince these dudes that he can profitably broker exchange of these cars between them.
Thing is, these dudes have the option to invest in a ski chalet, luxury watch, super-cute side chick or a cheaper, more driveable car (that can even come with a factory warranty).
All of these options will be cheaper to buy, easier to insure, simpler to maintain, are less of a headache, have a better financial upside, offer the same insta clout and FAR more practical utility
Temerian's wealthy investors will demand a certain ROI on these cars-
Once prices dip below a certain threshold, Temerian's videos will change and start to highlight **"The incredible value of this AMAZING Lambo available for sale at a low-low price at Curated"** 🙂

What's the point of having a vintage supercar made entirely out of dreams, but you get nervous when someone wants to drive it? I'm pretty sure that cara with the likes of Ferrari F40 LM will look incredible in its delivery mileage condition, but wouldn't it be more proper to see it actually being used on the road or track?

Crazy that John freaked out at the idea of someone actually driving the Greellow Diablo. More proof than the guys are Curated are treating cars like investments, and not like machines supposed to be driven. Sad, not fun.

I mean these guys are collectors not drivers, and they display their cars at shows so lots of people get to enjoy it not as a machine but as a work of art. Its a shame but I understand why people are willing to preserve one of a kind or historically significant examples so people can enjoy them decades later when they’re still in pristine condition. It’s like he said, there are so many other cars that the owner could drive, and the buyer actually ended up getting a different Diablo that offers an identical driving experience. How many opportunities does someone get to see a countach in the same condition it was 40 years ago when it left the factory, stickers and all? It’s not like the car is gonna be stowed away forever either, eventually it will be sold and may very well outlast every other example like it (not that was is anything quite like it to begin with but u get my point)

@@lukefisher8417 Well John having his feelings hurt just by thinking of the car being driven (hence losing value) says it all. Theses guys aren't enthusiasts they're bankers, they just trade cars instead of stocks. They only care for the never driven, never touched, never seen vehicles. If your Diablo was used the was supposed, designed to be, they don't want it. It doesn't mean if it was crashed or modified, but if it was driven hard and a lot. Even with a pristine service history, a 50k miles unmodified Diablo ain't worth a dime to them.
I grew up with these cars as posters, I’m determined at one point in my life I will own one of them.
Please work on your audio. To hear his whispers we have to turn it up so loud it gives one a headache when he's speaking loudly.

Idc how rare a car is, they’re made to be driven. A Lamborghini sitting in a garage forever is a much bigger travesty than driving around an all original rare vintage car

I understand the sentiment with keeping a one off car safe but if I'm spending big bucks on a rare automobile I'd want others to see it and enjoy it n not lock it away in a garage. The SV is supposed to be all about clicking through that gated manual n enjoying the aural pleasure n if you take the driving part away from it, it's just an expensive metallic yellow paperweight.

This story brings up a question I've had for several years. It appears that Curated is buying these cars for investment purposes. Would companies like Curated ever be interested in establishing a fund where common investors (like me) could buy shares and receive a return on their investment at some future point? Do funds like this exist today? I could understand the complexities of establishing a fund such as I am suggesting but I think there would be interest. Thanks

@@diddy2612 Even then, clear bra won’t protect it from a careless crossover driver at a stoplight. This example is also nicer than the one currently in the Lamborghini museum, and driving it would significantly decrease the value, you have to look at this from John’s perspective

If I was a multi millionaire I'd buy these types of cars and drive the hell out of them just to piss off the purist collectors. Cars were designed & built to be on the open road for everyone to see and hear. Not stuck in a room never to see the light of day. Get them out there and rip them a new one.
