Did your scout come with those covers already? Or did you have to add those. I have the bobber version and the area for the key to be inserted is different. Do they sell the bracket for these to be added on?
Have you had any issues with the module being taped to the original ignition cover with it being so close to the engine from engine heat??? GREAT idea using the Indian concho to cover the ignition hole!!!
Hope you are the right person! I just watched you 3 minute video about installing the Guard Dawg and have a couple of questions. You did not show the gas tank removal, and I wonder if you did that, but just did not video that portion, or did you not remove it? Second question is, did you have to remove your fairing or not? I have the same fairing. I'm going to install today or tomorrow and wanted a little experienced help. Thanks in
great job!!

No issues at all with heat from engine. I used original heat wrap.

No need to remove gas tank
Fairing was not removed. You can take it off to get in there a little better but not necessary
Did you heat wrap the actual module? The small black box?
Yes absolutely. Just follow your original harness
@@tommygengaro3420 I don’t see the module wrapped in the video…I can clearly see the writing on the module. Thanks.
Tried looking on eBay but had no luck with the emblem you used to fill the hole for the ignition. Can you provide the sellers name?
Seller: Promospec. Indian Motorcycle Screw back Concho.
@@tommygengaro3420 thank you
