This car is all you need in life. More space than most cross overs, crazy fast and looks amazing. Relatively cheap when bought used

I love my 540i Msport! The best car I’ve ever owned, second bmw I’ve owned. Timeless body style, comfortable, and fast. Cant complain at all

Absolutely loved this car I had the pre facelift model from 2018 with alot of options...quick spacious and a dream drive. The only problem I had and it made to switch to a 2021 X3 M40i is the boot is deep and spacious in the five series but not practical when you have kids who want to tak scooters and stuff.
Amazing to remap giving superb gains and the bergersport intake makes the turbo sound better.
This Facelift model looks beautiful

@@Anriandor iv'e got some of these as rental cars, and if you put them into Sport ( also individual), Start Stop is turned off

So, its not a 540i and its not an M5...but it start at 70k Euro.

bmw 5 is the best in its class but this model is already outdated, it got 2 years to get replaced. Dont buy the current 5 guys, waite and get a brand new 5 in 2023 which will last 7 years. Never buy a new car in the middle of its facelift period.

I'm sorry but the 100-200 km/h can't be correct. I have the 2019 540i Xdrive and the 100-200km/h are always around 11s. I've watched many videos on YT with stock cars and the times also vary around 11-12s. I see it was super wet on the day of testing but I doubt that it explains the quite substantial time difference.
540i/540d isn't available with RWD in Sweden. Only 530i/530d and lower are.
This car stands out like i started liking this than the A6 and E class..New E class looks boring and A6 interior is dull but this 5 series is aggressive from every angle!
In 2023, 545e is actually way more expensive than 540i in Poland. In this shitty country everything doesn't make sense. There's so much "eco" lobby, but its all about to drain your pocket.

I love it. I purchased a 2021 BMW 540i M Sport Edition in December 2021, it is expected to arrive in China in May 2022, I am looking forward to receive this car as soon as possible.
I'm also from China. I ordered my Individial 540i M sport in May 2021 and got it at the beginning of this year. Aventurine red metallic is a lovely color.It's indeed very comfortable and crazy fast car

People complaining that the exterior looks bland have completely missed the point about the 5 series LOL. It was meant to be simple… that’s the essence of the 5. That’s why this car will become a classic just like the E39.

I have watched a few videos on this channel recently, and have seen a couple on the new 5 series. I have to say that for me, this interior is what a BMW should have. The new one is just awful and frankly hard to take seriously. An updated version of this would have been far nicer.

I have a 530d M sport edition in the UK. Great car with the exception of the horrible state of our roads in the UK and the bloody hopeless 20" runflat tyres. I have to replace one soon because of a catastrophic visit to a 10cm deep pothole. The car was in adaptive drive but it didn't help with the shock that went through the body work. The Laser headlights are epic. Mine is in Donnigton Grey. I'm thinking of trading it for an Alpina D5, maybe a three year old one with the cd player.

I wish the US got the configuration options the rest of the world gets. No 545e, no performance seats, and we get stuck with the Harman Kardon system in anything but the v8 models.
