I have this car 4 months now and it is perfect. Dump the 20" wheels, special brakes and massage seat and the car is under $70,000. the big wheels dont work on city roads and potholes, get a real massage and the regular brakes are fine. BMW service is by far better than Audi and equal to Mbenz

@Franz Fanon my 2022 550 is a beast, will eat my old 2018 S6 alive.
@Franz Fanon yeah front end does look better, but just off of performance that 550 is the way to go. As for the hitch, you coukd just get one added after purchsse.

@Franz Fanon nice yeah i have seen a hitch on a 5 series before, but like you said might be pricey since its a bmw, but call uhaul and they will give you a quote.
I tested this but went with the 2022 M340i instead - i didnt need the extra room in the 5 and the M340i handled way sportier ! The 540 definitely looks nice though but the length is pretty big - a bit of a pain for small garages etc!
Congratulations the M340i is a awesome vehicle and your right the on the extra length. It’s great if you need it but the dynamics is more fun with the M340i 👍🏻
Make sense the m340i is very nice. Seen a all black m340i that was hella nice and it help me make my decision on my all black m550i waiting for it now. I’m a bigger car person. Was gonna do the m3 but it’s just to small for me.
I’m looking at this exact optioned car at 79570, it is now asking 47000 with 31k miles few yrs later, love the dynamic active ride plus everything else, that proper stitching and that 20 way to adjust seats is welcomed and not expected, even tho my S6 was nice at that time, and I’m comparing to my last 4.0 tt Audi S6 features wise, this is so much more, I drove this today and , overall, it is better than my 2016 S6 I sold , that’s big since my v8 was a big powerhouse at 20 mpg tho..this is not as fast but better in many ways..

Hi, I have an old bmw 5 series . Should I upgrade to 840i or should I keep to 540i.
It depends on what style you like, the gran coupe has a better weight distribution and more torque but they both get to 60 around the same. If your tall like me (6’3) the 840i front window dips down so it’s harder to see out and the seat sets higher up than the 540i.

What about the driver self corrective feaiure
The lane centering and adaptive cruise feature works great on BMWs, it will drive for around .2-.3 miles without needing the drive to be engaged 👍

I am used to an e36. My uncle has an e90 and to me it feels like it's floating on the road. Imagine how this car feels.

This car looks like a olds school 64 bit video game square basic looking car.
Some people like BMW and some don’t but they are great vehicles 👍
Mi audi S7 is faster, looks better and holds more cargo, also audi interior is much nicer
Great points but for a loaded spec S7 it would be over 100k. The S7 is one of my favorites, this one was under 80k with all features 👍🏻
I will choose my 540i over the s7 anyday . 540i comes with a b58. If you know cars the b58 is untouchable. On top of that with 3 simple mods its faster than a s7 .

The price equivalent to the s7 is the 550 which will smoke the Audi. S7 is a very good looking tho
How does the steering feel? Do you feel "one with the car"?
The engagement is good, a little weight, excellent with corners but the response is more smooth than heavy. You will feel, “one with the car” but BMW has been making it more soft.
