Eufy solar panel setup

In this video, I unbox and install the Eufy by Anker solar panel to power my 2k camera. This should save me charging the camera every 6-8 weeks. The panel itself went in easy and time will tell if it works ok.

Weirdly mines been plugged in for a few weeks now and shows on the app but doesn’t charge my camera. On your screen recording you can see it charging with the bars going up…. Mine does not. Time to complain to eufy yet again

I have a eufy solar panel and a reolink. There’s no rhyme nor reason to when they fancy charging. Bright sunny day nothing, cloudy and overcast charging! 🤦‍♂️

@@dadskillz that’s what I suspected. Both been installed together, since installation my camera battery has slowly dwindled from 100% down to 10% so I can only assume something is not working

So just to make sure.. .you went in to the power management on the App and changed it to Solar Panel... .correct? I've seen videos where they didn't do that and wonder why it didn't work... just thought I'd ask.. thanks for the video. By the way have you ever asked if the battery dies (they are not replaceable) would the camera run just off the solar panel?

Yes I did and no I don’t know if the battery died would it just run on the solar panel.

The solar panel charges the battery with either setting. If you change the power source in settings to Solar Panel, it keeps the blue charging LED from illuminating on the camera when it's charging.
