I purchased the 2c pro kit w home base for storage. I wonder how well is the solar panel charging the cameras?
Thank you for the comment, no issues at all to charge the cameras. I’ve had them up for a year and the system sustains itself now without needing to pull down and charge them.
Hi, great video. Thanks for posting. Good work - straight to the point. I became a little confused when you said the LED light stays on.. but I guess I know what you meant after thinking more about it stealth - (but why?) My question is this - do the cameras still work whilst the unit is charging? Or will they switch off for a period of time as though the camera was being charged via a wall outlet? Hi Johnny and thank you for the comment! There is a status LED that blinks blue while charging so that is the LED that gets turned off while in the stealth mode. As for the unit, it is active 24/7 when charging and will turn on for recording when a motion is detected (standard operating procedures). Thank you for the comment, what do you mean by keep the battery in or not? The batteries fixed inside the unit you cannot remove it. It’s simply rechargeable battery pack inside the camera itself.
i just ordered a set and i thought i have to insert battery
now everything is clear
@@jincejohn4031 the battery life is honestly pretty good, even in winter time which routinely gets into the single digits a single charge for me lasted 4 months. If you live in a warmer climate you should be able to get 6 months on a charge.
Would the system work without the home HUB? Just using in camera storage of 8 GB?
These particular camera will not bit Eufy did come out with ones that will and they are priced pretty close to what these cost at full retail.
