    Hey nice but I did the drug test and physical last month and nobody got back to me yet how long does the hiring process take because I’m tired of waiting for them to call I’m about to go get another job if they taking long ?

      They can take up to a month to respond. Mines took 3 and half weeks

    Why is it that their are plenty of fedex 'ground' videos but barley any express ones?

      I work for ground... Ground is contractors Express is actually Fed Ex. Way more rules with Express

      Express has strict workplace policies which dont allow for personal phone use. For privacy and safety reasons recording is not allowed.

    It's true. You rarely see fedex express videos. Just be careful I used to watch Cthompson and I think he mentioned on one of his video he had a takedown request from FedEx and he had to change his video format and/or was being monitored.
    I'm glad you like it. I started 2 weeks ago and so far so good I like it a lot better than FedEx Ground. Happy Sunday!

      @@mb24777 you could if you work ot... also it all depends where you are located. Some locations start at 21.00 some start at 16.00. But my opinion comes from my own experience with the contractor at Ground. I just had a salary. No benefits, nothing......

    I’m a part time FedEx Express driver in Huntington Beach. Truly a cream of the crop. Though you work for the company so it’s a lot stricter and you can’t go too crazy on vids, 100% worth it.
    But I’d never be a full time swing driver, 50 hrs/week ain’t for me 💀 good luck!

    Thank you so much for these videos. You're amazing. I'm starting as a driver and I wanted to use a blue tooth ear piece to take phone calls if needed or listen to music. I guess those aren't allowed? Do they monitor you while you work?

      No, they aren’t allowed but some drivers like myself still use them or other use Bluetooth speakers. They don’t constantly monitor to you, every once in a while they will run a report on your route and see if you have to much gap time, other than that nope.

    Very informative video. How long did it take you after your interview to get a call/email back for orientation, I’m going on my second week without a call I did my physical and drug test. Just wondering .

    I work for an Amazon DSP, I like it it's a fun job depending on the route, I only see it as a stepping stone into a better company.

    Hi, very good videos, quick question so if you have 25 - 30 stops and you finish it let say in 6 hours or less, you can go home? Or you have to complete your 8 hours shift? Or they could send you to help or "rescue" another FedEx Express driver just like Amazon does? Thanks!

      Depending if your station needs help, dispatch or a manager may ask you to stay to help out with pickups, a few more deliveries, or with the evening sort. You can always ask dispatch you need more work to do, and sometimes there may not be much help needed so you can leave early.

      @@ZBo-tw2ri You get paid hourly, but are guaranteed 35 work hours a week as a full-time employee. There is typically plenty of work to do so always ask management/dispatch or help with the evening sort.

    Are FedEx Express courier's different from the other driver positions with Express.

      Courier/ Delivery Driver is kind of like tomato (English), tomato( British). Courier just means you are transporting goods or documents. Now are different courier driver jobs as a shuttle driver(shuttling packages to the ramp) or ramp driver ( moving trailer to specific locations at the ramp).

      @@andr3w131 having worked at ground and now working at Freight I can say Freight is definitely the top tier experience between those two. I've heard nothing but good things about Express! I don't know what to pay is like at Express but I make pretty decent money here at Freight

    I'm hoping I can find a Full-time AM route for Express. I check their career site everyday and it's mostly PM jobs. Delivering in the dark sucks. I guess I would do PM if I could get 5 hours of OT working 5 days like you. Do a lot of your PM shift coworkers get OT if they want it? I really want to jump ship but if I'm only getting 35-40 it's a tough call. 45 would actually be perfect.

      PM routes are mostly pick up as for as I know most of them are not doing any delivery. Unless they come in Midday

      PM drivers do not get OT. Some of us midday drivers, that start around 1230 at my station, doing deliveries hardly get any OT. Which makes me consider applying elsewhere because the hours isnt enough

      @@andr3w131 Your midday starts at 12:30 pm? Holy Shit, I would be mad, I am already upset ours starts at 11:30, I usually only get an hour of OT every day because I do not want to stay after 9pm since I am already there at 10:30 but I can't clock in.

      @@elexust730 Yes, our current midday start time is at 1230 because we have a late arriving shuttle. I was hired to start at 11am not at 1230. Some of the drivers at my station arent happy with this schedule either.

    Could you please make a video on common problems you encounter that they don’t train you for and provide the solution?
    How you went about solving it. Even as simple as pulling out your own GPS to something complex. Top 5 problems and your solutions you grew from would be helpful to know what people need to be prepared for.

    Nice video. How many hours do you average a week since you started? Do most of the drivers get 40 hours a week or is it under most of the time? How long did it take you to learn your area? Are you still using GPS?

      I average between 43-45 hrs a week, took about a week to learn my area but I still use GPS if I never been to a certain address. I'll answer in more detail in the next video.

      @@daves7079 lol finesse 🤣 I get to work an hour early and it’s takes about two hours before I actually leave the station. 20 stops takes about 3 hrs since I’m in downtown just takes longer. Then I take my break head back and chill like until pm sort help with that for a 2 to 3 hrs and clock out.

      It’s because unlike ground we can’t straight line a route. We have to do like 25-30 business priorities first then we have to do residential priorities AND then we can straight line the route.

      Between 9-10 hrs from 11:25 am till 9:45 pm or 10:30 am till 8:30 pm

      Get paid $19.80/hr usually from $790- $850 every week after taxes. Just depends on the hours I work.

    Hello Friend , I have a question please ,
    I received a call from FedEx recruiter and The call was good and He scheduled me for an interview but 10minutes later I received a text that my interview appointment was canceled, I really love to work for FedEx I have been route for long time but my company shut down our location for ever because of Covid 19 - I texted back the recruiter but didn’t receive a reply yet And it has been only a day so I will wait and hope for reply , I had an excellent record for driving and I was awarded lots of recognitions from my old job . My FedEx application status says In progress . I am praying and hoping to hear back from the recruiter.
    What is your advice please ?? Thank you kindly .

      @@elexust730 Thank you Elexus for your reply , I will keep texting the recruiter , When I tried to call him it just automatically goes to a voice mail .
      I really have almost 10 years of experience as a route driver and used to do 50 stops and some of them are desktop so really I would be an asset to the company . Again I hope that he would answer me again My records are 100% clean and my work ethic is excellent that make me think may the hiring manage was busy that is why they canceled the interview .       @@kokoana1234 Was this recruiter the hiring manager or HR that contacted you? If it's the hiring manager and he doesn't answers, I at least would show up to the ship center or hub and just ask about your interview status. It's a slow process. They hire me a month later after the bg check and the drug screen.

      @Alexander Rivera Thank you Alexander , I don’t think that he is the hiring manager , I think he is from HR and He just said that he is a Fedex recruiter and he scheduled me with a hiring manager and less than 10 minutes later the I received a text from him to cancel the appointment and didn’t give me any reason or if it was going to be rescheduled, I texted him back on Thursday ranking him and asking him if he please can reschedule but it is Monday and I am waiting for him to reply to my text , My job status in FedEx website: In progress and I applied also for another job as a DOT driver and it says under consideration.
      Everyone is telling me to wait for his answer and I am hoping he gets back to me 🙏🙏 I am feeling happy and sad at the same time but I believe that God will help me 🙏 Thank you Alexander

      Hello friends , I drive today to FedEx warehouse and asked to speak to the hiring manager but she wasn’t there and they give me her number and said to call her tomorrow or ask to speak to another manager seems her boss .
      I also left a message to the HR recruiter in his voice mail and also sent him a text message and hoping that he kindly reply back to me .
      The job posting for the 2 jobs I applied for has been taken out today @ 3PM from the FedEx website , My profile says : in progress and the other job says under consideration.
      Is that mean that they already filled those positions without even having to interview anyone ?? Or they already have someone was hired and the online posting was just a routine thing to satisfy the government regulations that they have to post the job . I feel Like I did everything I can do but I wish that recruiter and Human Resources would be kind to me and at least reply back to my messages .
      I am a believer in God 🙏🙏
