In my oppinion, music is one of the best parts of Homestuck. It's not just filler music for the flash animations, it's something that is truly beautiful. Music was actually one of the reasons that I began reading Homestuck. Bravo to all the composers who worked on all these amazing albums!!!

Homestuck music is something I used to listen to a lot, though not anymore. It's a rare time that the RUclips algorithm decided to start putting some Homestuck music back into my recommendations, and so I decided to give a few a re-listen, but so far this song has honestly had the largest impact on me. This is one of my favorite songs from the entire series, and it felt bittersweet to hear again after the past 3 years...

I like how this soundtrack includes all kinds of instruments associated with different kinds of adventure. This can be seen best from 2:26 to 2:37, where the music first reminds of a deep, crystal filled cave, then of a jungle style tribe and lastly of the soaring hot desert, while the melody itself with its ups and downs is reminiscent of the sea and is commonly used in pirate like themes (especially clear from 1:34 to 1:40).
I read on TVTropes' Homestuck Crowning Music page that this is actually the longest song in the entirety of the Homestuck discography, discounting medleys like Cascade (and it's dubious that Cascade is so much a "medley" as it is a score). And IMO, it fully deserves this length. The section beginning around 4:50 reminds me in some ways of "Romancing the Stone" and similar 80s romantic movies and in some ways of the classical majesty of Gustav Holst's "Jupiter" and John Williams' scores. Bravo.
I LOVE [S] Jane: Enter. It starts out with Another Jungle, cool SBURB-y sounding song, when Jane is starting to play. Then it completely whiplashes to showing Roxy and Dirk living in sea Hitler's water apocalypse, being chased by drones, with this hells of intense soundtrack.
