I want this to be played at my wedding should I ever wed along with Entropy, another song I find to be as beautiful and moving as this. I told my non-Homestucker friend this and she just said I'm obsessed. I don't think she quite understands how beautiful this is to me. Then there’s this song, Requited, which appears to be for the Disciple. Her love was requited, but then the one she loved was brutally killed. This song actually makes me cry.

Karkat saved Gamzee (probably thinking he was saving everyone else) which allowed him to generally sabotage everything leading up to [s] Game Over, Rose went into some sort of year long drinking binge over Kanaya which lead to her never really mediating for Terezi and Gamzee and failing to prepare a strategy for the next session, Terezi's kismesissitude was also basically the death of her. An exception would be that Equius' weird, perverse obsession with Aradia lead to him building a soulbot for her, but that was totally unrequited, and that only started because of the shitstorm Vriska started when she crippled Tavros motivated by her bizarre hate/pity obsession over him.
Zach Fair And Equius wanted Nepeta to hide while he hunted three loose killers single-handedly, which might have been a good idea if Nepeta actually kept hidden, but really just put him in a battle he couldn't win alone.
I only started reading two or three months ago,,, this is beautiful. I can’t wait to learn more about the Sufferer and the Disciple’s relationship after listening to this.

I think this song kind of has a double meaning. I think it represents not only The Sufferer's and The Disciple's bond, but also the amazing love that The Sufferer had for his people following up to the day of his death. I don't know why but this song has brought me to tears on certain occasions.

I just feel so sad for the leos. Nepeta was killed before she could even tell Karkat how she felt. Meulin was hurt in an accident by her boyfriend, but even after death she still loved him. And then the Disciple, the only one that grew up in love, had to watch her lover die. Maybe we'll find out that the other Nepeta had a happy ending. In fact, Hussie, just this once will you let the other trolls have a happy life? Give the other trolls the love and safety they deserve.
I literally cannot explain why I am crying so goddamn much right now. The tears are happy and sad all at once. It's like... Being the Disciple and knowing that he loves you, but then feeling the pain of his death mixed with being Nepeta in a blissful state of naivety about the world, but a deep understanding of heartbreak, then the pain of dying and knowing you could never tell him what he meant to you.
If pure, requited, joyful love was a song, it would be this. And it makes me feel as if I was the one in love. As if I was the one who is so happy to be with my partner. Both of which are almost nonexistent to me, a person who can rarely feel romantic attraction. But I just know that this song is exactly how it feels like.

I imagine them dancing to this. It feels like this song is also happier then the Serenade one. But think happily of it all. In the end we are all together again my friends, we've never passed but are still together.
This song is so full of emotion... Undoubtedly one of the most emotional and beautiful songs in any Homestuck volume. ;~;
I just feel so sad for the leos. Nepeta was killed before she could even tell Karkat how she felt. Meulin was hurt in an accident by her boyfriend, but even after death she still loved him. And then the Disciple, the only one that grew up in love, had to watch her lover die. Maybe we'll find out that the other Nepeta had a happy ending. In fact, Hussie, just this once will you let the other trolls have a happy life? Give the other trolls the love and safety they deserve.
I literally cannot explain why I am crying so goddamn much right now. The tears are happy and sad all at once. It's like... Being the Disciple and knowing that he loves you, but then feeling the pain of his death mixed with being Nepeta in a blissful state of naivety about the world, but a deep understanding of heartbreak, then the pain of dying and knowing you could never tell him what he meant to you.
Nothing is more sad than the story of the Disciple and the Sufferer.. her love even carries on to Nepeta.. -sniff-

If pure, requited, joyful love was a song, it would be this. And it makes me feel as if I was the one in love. As if I was the one who is so happy to be with my partner. Both of which are almost nonexistent to me, a person who can rarely feel romantic attraction. But I just know that this song is exactly how it feels like.
