How To Remove an S10 Steering Wheel

- This video is a few years old now, but shows how to remove a steering wheel from many GM vehicles. This was a 2000 GMC Jimmy Diamond Edition, but applies to many 1995-2002 GM trucks.

Thanks for making this. Getting the airbag assembly off was throwing me for a loop until you showed that you had to pry through a notch in the back.

@@andyb1185 Well, at this price, I might keep a few different ones hanging in the garage and swap them out like shoes on a whim! ;-)
@@slikrhodez3336 totally doable! I swapped 3 or 4 different ones until i settled on the current one. You can also add the steering wheel controls, if you have a factory radio anyway
Does anyone know why a steering wheel off a '99 S-10 wouldn't work on a'95Chevy 1/2? Don't care about the Airbag working but the horn would still have to work
So, at about 1:55 in the video the captions says the nut holding the steering wheel is "20 to 22 millimeter." Since I'll need to buy a socket, please tell me the actual size of the nut, thanks!
