The Stent stays in plays because its diameter is larger than the artery in which it is being fited.. To travel, it needs a force greater than what the blood flow in the artery provides.
Our body is amazing ❤❤❤

One question, how does the stent stick to the artery? Or how does it make sure to not move from that position?
It was made to lock into place after it's expanded, meaning it's not "sticked to the artery", it's just impossible to close again.
@@kris0375 so when you say lock, does it mean it penetrates a tiny bit like a thread when we sew or like a nail?
@@ronak212You mean the walls of the artery? They are pretty flexible so I wouldn't say it "penetrates" the walls, they just get pushed to the position they normally should be.
The blood flow is not nearly strong enough to push the stent, which is tightly locked into the artery.
Once the stents are deployed into the artery usually the Interventionist or the doctor gives an oral medication to the patient to help the stent/s stick into the artery and will not flush out by the blood, and once the stents are in placed the body will soon adopt the stents.
Stent is a temporary

Hey...the stents doesn't trigger the immune system???
Usually, the stent is coated by sirolimus(immunosuppressant) , a medication, which helps to prevent body rejection.
